I don't think so this works in long term.

It depends on the maturity level of both parties, amongst other things.

Astrology isn't foolproof - anything can work if you want it to and both have the maturity to deal with any issues that come up.

Aries and Virgo 25 years (minus a 4 year divorce).

Mind if I ask? I get that you got together with you ex husband, but why did you guys remarry? Didn't you see that marriage is an unnecessary social construction.

I'm confused. Did I say that or do you mean don't I see that?

What's your previous user name?

Not a big Taurus fan, but yes to other two big time. Fire + Earth makes natural magma in this case. Ambition and dynamic characters are similar and complement each other well, even through differences.

What's your previous user name?

Yeah, I mean the latter. But I'm just being curious.

I have no problem with the question curious or otherwise.

He wanted marriage. If you love your partner and they want to formalize your union, why not? Logically, and regardless of personal views to the contrary, when all lights are green, why not take the path of least resistance? Anything else is being obstructive.

I really dont see marriage as an absolute whether a social construct or necessary to organize society.

For me, it seems necessary to stop the will of men determined in seduction. Most will stop if you tell them you're married. If you say it's a boyfriend, they are not discouraged at all and maybe rightfully so. The way these men see it, he's stupid. Men determined to have you think to themselves, I want her, and if she's as good as I think she is, I'll marry her. She's with an idiot who doesn't see that she is wanted by many. An idiot does not deserve her. Or, they think he is weak which as fury to their desire to have her. So, you see in this example, it's got nothing to do with "Social Construct." Sometimes it's about desire, social hierarchy, and dominance, particularly dominant male behavior..

Along the same lines, marriage is protective. Anyone of us can die tomorrow, a protective man wants to honor his love with proper legal standing that is indisputable requiring no additional legal adminstration - it's powerfully simple to protect his love and offspring.

A protective man will marry knowing that it's a testament to other males that if you fuck with this one, it will be war. The husband wants all things entangled to make untangling a difficult consideration and process. The process of untangling quite naturally gives some time for attempts at reconciliation.

It also effects offspring, the notion of love, protection, and being a bastard. I was a substitute teacher while I was in graduate school. I chose the most notorious destitue, violent, middle school...as a Beuns Aquarius, that appeals to me. In this particular school, the children had taken to calling each other bastards because it wasn't profane but served the purpose. I knew that they did not know the meaning of the word. When, I finally told them... they stopped calling each other bastards. And, if by some accident, they did, there was a constructive diagreement of facts that lead to humiliation of at least one party.

It's really my experience as my view was similar to yours. Life experience taught my that "views" are untested mental luxuries.

What is long term, 50+ years?

They are married for 8 years now, dated for 2 years before marriage.

Brilliant if that's true 👍🏻 And I hope they stay together for a long time as well.

Some Aries are Pisces dominant because of it being an adjacent sign. I'm Pisces dominant. It's my 3rd sign - Mercury Conjunct Jupiter in Pisces. Plus, Jupiter is in one of three of my Grand Air Trines.

Nah, she's not Pisces dominant. Same chart as mine except moon and rising. She's 3 days older than me 🤞 we are basically the same person.

I wasn't making that assumption just really prefacing about how people think Sun sign has that much to do with synastry.
