Hi, I would like to know if you or anyone you know suffer from any of the following disorders,

1)Touretts Syndrome:

Tourette syndrome (TS) is an inherited, neurological disorder characterized by multiple involuntary movements and uncontrollable vocalizations called tics that come and go over years. In a few cases, such tics can include inappropriate words and phrases.

2) Selective Mutism Disorder:

In the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders selective mutism is described as a rare psychological disorder in children. Children (and adults) with the disorder are fully capable of speech and understanding language, but fail to speak in certain social situations when it is expected of them. They function normally in other areas of behaviour and learning, though appear severely withdrawn and some are unable to participate in group activities due to their extreme anxiety.

3) Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD):

ADHD is a neurobehavioral disorder characterized by pervasive inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity and resulting in significant functional impairment.

If you or a family member suffers from any of the following disorders, Tourett's Syndrome, Selective Mutism Disorder, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Please email me , I would like for you to participate in an interview about your experiences with this disorder. This is a research project. It is short and won't take much time. It can be done over email.

I've been diagnosed with ADHD as a little tyke, and I think ADHD should be changed to INPABYFBM disease, or I'm Not Paying Attention Because YOU FUCKING BORE ME!!! disease. I also was prescribed Ritalin then swiftly taken off because it gave me bad symptoms and my parents didn't want me drugged by the man. ADHD seems to be a label of people who actualy have a shred of individuality, high energy, VERY high creativity, and above average intelligence with a need for stimulation of multiple senses. They are extraordinary, so the man tries to bring him/her down. People with ADD/ADHD are sort of like the crab that tries to escape the barrel but gets pulled back in by the other crabs.

People with ADHD seem to be the descendants of the hunters of the time when humanity was relatively new, while the other people are descendants of the farmers. Most people accept the rut of a daily routine (like farming), but the hunters said "fuck that, I want some action, I want to kill something, bring it home, put it over a fire, then eat it. I WANT RISK, ACTION, AND REWARD!" ADHDers generally have this specific genetic mutation called the DRD14 allele, and it makes them high speed, risk taking, out of the box thinkers and doers. Another thing, distractability often saved the lives of those hunters, because as they were stalking that deer, if they didn't get easily distracted by that big hungry mean bear that was off to the side, they themselves would have been lunch instead of the deer. Many rich and or famous have ADHD, like Einstein, Bill Gates, Bill Clinton, P. Diddy, and you know God damn good and well that the rapper DMX has it. They had the balls to take a risk and make a lot of money.

If you know someone with ADD/ADHD, don't tell them to they need drugs and or that they have a problem, tell them they have an advantage and they need to use it!

All in all, ADD/ADHD can either be a curse or a gift depending on how you use it. I recommend this inspiring book: www.davincimethod.com

2) Selective Mutism Disorder:xxxx

There was a little girl in my daughters preschool who almost never, and I mean never, said a word. Totally silent. But whenever I'd come to visit, she would sort of cling to me and my kid. Then one day, out of the blue, she said something to me that chilled me to the bone.

"My daddy yells at my mommy and hits her"

I cant tell whether or not she had this specific disorder. But everytime I meet another 'quiet' child, I automatically assume the worst.
