Hesitant Aries?

Been nicely dating a sweet Aries for about a month. It's been very casual and very friendly. A perfect place for me to be, but I am curious what you all think.

We've only kissed once, a nice long kiss as I said goodbye. Everything I hear about Aries says they go for what they want, but he's just not going for it. Honestly, it's not that I mind, I'm rather enjoying the pace we're taking. I'm having a lot of fun, just getting to know him and having somebody to hang out with and flirt with.

He's younger than me, about 22...do you think that makes a difference?

I'm a Libra btw.

Personally... I usually do know what I want and when I do I'm usually set on it. I've also had a Libra girlfriend who had a similar problem... unfortunately nothing ever came from it. There relationship was at a stalmate and they remained friends. Eventually, he told her that she was at his maturity level. Now that might sound funny coming from an Aries... but personally the thing that has kept me from dating Libra men is that they are a tad bit too immature for my tatse. But that is just IMHO.

In most areas of my life, I'm a charging ram. But, when it comes to the love arena, I've always liked to take things slow and and with intent.
I do think only one long kiss in a month is a little too slow IMHO. He may be extra shy, but that should improve with age. He also may not be totally comfortable with himself yet. So, I do think age plays a part here.
He may just be in a place in his life where this pace is feelin' good to him. We rarely do things that don't feel good to us just to make others happy. If you are comfortable with how things are going, roll with it!

I can see this happening...

I don't believe our issue is about maturity, regardless of his age -- which I am not sure of. Again, he's probably 22 or 23. I'm 26...

When I am dating or interested in somebody, I like to make it clear that I'm interested, but as I prefer to have "THE" moves made on me. I've been intuiting that he may be the same way. And also thinking, as Ovi_Spring said, he may be inexperienced.

I am really having fun with him! I like flirting a lot. I got my heart broken badly a few months ago and the pace we are taking is wonderful for me right now. Like I said, I know the boy likes me. There would be no reason for us to hang out if he didn't, just feel things are slower than slow on a physical level.
