Our hard headed nature

where do you thinks this comes from? Sometimes when I objectively reflect, I realize how stubborn we can be LOL. I think in some cases it can be good though, especially if we can back it up...but what's the astrological/historical context behind this trait, I'm curious

I didn't go into work today despite my manager calling me, leaving me a message, and also texting me. Why? Because I fell I'll the day before yesterday and got a lecture text about how she was going to write me up. No "I hope you feel better" or anything despite giving her notice. So, I made up my mind I wasn't going today not thinking (or caring) about the consequence. She once called me uncompromising, and she is wrong. As long as you approach me logically and fair, I WILL do my best to work with you as long as it's what I wish to do.

My virgo loved my stubbornness but I think it also frustrated him at times. Wanting to be good to him, I tried to be less stubborn, and I ended up leaning to far in either direction without balance. I then became frustrated because I felt I wasn't being true to myself, and he became frustrated because he wanted me to be true to myself. The art of compromise is truly an art that I haven't quite mastered yet.

Good question. I wonder if we'll find am answer.

Our type of stubborn is different than other signs I notice...like we irritate people. I think when we're calm, we're the most stubborn. It's a weird phenomenon...

omg THIS. Yes, it irks me when ppl think just because we have a "youthful" spirit that we can be pushed around and you can be condescending towards me. I hate that shit

Probably because we've got over the initial anger part that involves the 'tantrum'. but the situation is still going on in our head so I think the calm stubborn part is quiet anger because we're hurt.
That's how I feel when I'm like that anyway.

Me too!
Although as I've got older I just lay it out for people straight. Don't try to order me about, talk down to me or manipulate me, you'll only piss me off and you DON'T want that.

If people don't listen I stay away from them!

I also find my quiet anger is probably more dangerous than an instant outburst. Because I've thought about and processed what's pissed me off rather than reacting instantly.

I think Aries cannot differentiate between actions and reactions when it concerns their behavior.

They feel the vibe to act all the time. A good percentage of that times they are REacting and have no clue about it.

A wall who just appears in front of you isn't there for you to react to it because it never acted towards you. But the ram sees the wall as an action so they attack, thinking they are acting. Meanwhile they react against ..no action.

"Should I tear this wall down or should I go around it?" - ask that and you will see if you act more than you react. If you never ask that..you spend your life on reacting and anything can rile you up. At least be aware of the choice. I'd be surprised if some of you read this far without having an immediate emotional knee jerk REaction. What you see as standing your ground..most of the other signs see it as needless temper tantrums and stubborness. Because we expect rationality to creep into the ram's wool and make choices at times, not only follow first impulses.

No, it's not "troll a Ram" day..so funny you'd ask that. Just something I've been pondering about lately.

I'm not stubborn. No one has ever used that adjective to describe me. I'm a mutable dominant Aries; one fixed placement.

However, I've recently discovered my assistant is an Aries. She actually asked me my sign and then told me she is an Aries too.

She is stubborn.

I believe she is a little older than me. She is highly professional and polished.

I wish I had a mutable quality...mutable placements are good for adapting to new environments...I think cardinal placements CAN do that, but they choose not to most of the time....well the aries ones at least LOL

well depends on your birth chart, but yeah not as stubborn.. we can be something else lol

It comes from knowing what I want and completely ignoring outside opinions and forces. When I feel I am right I don't listen to anyone else. Oh well.
