Overreacting

Why do us Ariens overreact? Get heated and get mad first before trying to understand the problem? It's just a battle for me. I hate it.

A constant battle, I can tell you for sure.

hah...it sounds like the fusion sequence at the time of the birth of a star....very interesting. I would just let you guys have your nuclear chain reaction patiently and then start talking after you're done. Will that work as a strategy to deal with the Arian temper? 🙂

LOL I feel better knowing it's not just me. 🙂 I hold it in and blow up, yes usually the case. But it does make sense to think before speaking I just cannot do it every time. One thing I do try is remember the last time i threw a tantrum and remember to take a different path.

My dad and my son both do this. My dad will never apologize. My son will. I'm at least teaching him that.

someone needs to teach the rest of the world that we really don't mean to blow shit up, but its because we're more or less chilled most of the time and we'll let people get away with shit once or twice and then they think they can do it again and again and again, and we really don't want to explode because we know how shit and embarrassed we feel afterwards, so we'll just carry on keeping quiet until it's the last fucking straw of someone taking the piss and then we let rip and everyone in a two mile radius knows about it. It's loud and it's scary.

Sometimes people have over inflated sense of self and think they can treat people like shit. I got a verbal warning at work the other day for shouting at the receptionist for slamming the phone down on me after speaking to me very rudely. but she got one too... so its ok... at least she knows not to fuck with me again.

I think that's the main reason I blow up. people think they can walk all over me and that's what it takes to put them in check! That receptionist is sweet as pie to me now, and the one who sits next to her is too afraid to even look at me.

Sometimes it's necessary to lay down the law!

Both my Aries boyfriend and several Aries friends have a temper only when provoked. They are really sensitive and care about people a lot so they tend to give people a lot of rope to hang themselves with. However, when they have had it, it's a wrap and they will blow. Even when that happens, they feel ashamed and self-conscious afterwards, when the simple solution is to address each injury when it occurs, so it doesn't bottle up.

I have Aries moon/mars so I can really relate to them - I'd be more concerned with the Aries ice than the Aries fire. They get over slights easily but when they have had it, they have had it and you WILL be ignored from that point onward. You're dead to me and there's no hope for reconnecting.

I under react, especially in emergencies. Once the situation is over and done then all the flood gate comes out after the fact and usually alone

It would be all cool and stuff.... BUT DAMN one day out of the blue she would just go fucking ballistic or ICE me out and I'm think wtf is your deal ^.^? Honestly I don't remember her ever explaining why she got mad either.... I'd just wait and eventually she'd come around. IF she told me WTF it was that bothered her so much to get her to that point I'd try and stop it.

woot! 😄 I'd much rather overreact than sit around twiddling my thumbs like some other signs *whistle* and never get anythign done.

We have very strong emotions, so when we sense feelings of happiness, or anger; it's to the extreme. There that explains it. You'll make us feel stupid if you just be cool.

Yes these over emotions are annoying most of the time. I don't know how to keep it calm and cool.

It is very funny to watch ~ my dad never grew up in some ways ~ the big baby throwing his toys around. Dont get me wrong, a very clever and intelligent guy, but emotionally very very immature! God knows how my very patient mother tolerated him. After she passed i told him i wasnt about to be treated that way and ironically he began to respect me and calm down

Aries people need a very firm hand!! 😄

lolol I never really saw it as "over reacting" - but I suppose we do. - I used to get really upset at the person, jump to conclusions, over react and then calm down... now I tend to keep to myself, bite my tongue and hold out... I think you become wiser with age...

ditto, but yea as I have aged my patience level has grown but my tolerance for bs has gone down...if that can make any sense at all.....

ok how many of you have deleted someone off your friends list only to calm down and request them back..? lol

Omg SA, this made me laugh so hard, this is SO something I would do!! At the time I am convinced it's the right thing to do, then a few days later... Mmm.. maybe that was an overreaction hahaha!

I think though Damnata, you really get Aries; you are so right in your observations. We are actually very optimistic and hopeful with people but also very direct, so if people keep letting us down after being given the benefit of the doubt, then yes - we are OUT

I'm sorry for your bad experiences with Aries ppl, but not all of us overreact. However, I can understand you making that statement based on whom you have interacted with. I think sometimes, aries are hot heads (the ones I've also interacted with ...but they have fire moons 😛 ). I usually never get angry though, or overreact. Can you please be a little more specific with what you mean by "battle"...we happen to be a sensitive fire, and are very sensory triggered with certain tonalities, so maybe it was the way you approached them? Anyway, there is no excuse for outlandish behaviour, and I hope one day you meet an Aries that doesn't do that 😛 Peace and love 🙂
