Scorpio Rising in love?

I think the reason why Scorpios are considered the "most powerful" sign of the zodiac is because their traits can become easily apparent in people to the point where they seem to eclipse other character traits.

For example, I met a Libra sun with a Scorpio rising, and he confused the butter out of me until I figured out his rising sign. He had the infamous Scorpio stare and refused to share personal information about himself. Very un-Libran like, according to the texts. He also had pluto conjuncting his first house.

I guess my question is, what happens when a person's rising sign is in Scorpio? How does it affect the way they show love and affection? Is it true that the more they start to fall for you, the more possessive and insecure they become? Why is that, and how can they overcome those insecurities?

I am a scorpio rising, for me it does generally describe my physically disposition, dark, broody, secretive, but once you get past that my other signs shine through. In love for me, I fell for a Scorpio guy and it threw me out of whack a bit. I was secretive and but very obvious in the way I approached (the deep scorpionic stares). There is definitely a vulnerability issue when it comes to those who we truly love. I am cautious in general when I meet most people so love feels likes someone is piercing the superficial shell that I have.

I can understand the vulnerability, since I'm a Scorpio sun myself. I know you will find the courage/bravery to work past those things; afterall, I think it's scorpio rising's fate to embody the phoenix rising from ashes, soaring beyond lesser things holding you down or back from fully experiencing love in your highest form.

I also have a pluto-sun conjunction, so the synastry aspects do bring out an obsessive side of me I'm not used to. I guess that's why I've been researching this placement. I honestly think this guy explains you all really well:

BTW, sorry if my wording was a little too strong there. I have a Jupiter in my ascendant with a tight trine to venus; it's given me some trouble in my communication in the past. : P

My aqua and I both have scorpio rising. We get what we give. lol!

Personally i don't make sure the other person is on the same page but this is probably an maturity thing. I didn't even think about doing such.

But who knows, maybe my psychic intuition just knows when the chemistry between me and someone else will definitely lead to deep love on their end? Shrug.

Not sure about Venus in Pisces as mine is in Cap. But you mean full force confession? I don't I usually observe someone's actions and words and then slowly give in. It's sometimes stupid but I analyze every single move they make.

True, I think past experience is a part of ones development. Thing is, I'm not giving away what the other isn't if I do and end up empty handed, it's a waste of my time, energy and devotion. Might sound cruel. I've had someone tell me I'm good at socializing great conversations but once they hit me with little bit of feelings, I close off. But I'll play it cool with a big smile. Im on the edge of frightened of those that subtly sneak into my heart.

Not for me. Major fear of rejection so I never say it 1st. Also there's my Aries pride.

However with all this Pisces I have I have to say I'm quite sensitive to how other people are feeling. So I generally tend to know.
