Posted by AlphaPosted by lisabethur8Yeah, exactly. I think Jupiter is at home in 4th house. I also read that if a person has this placement, he/she should stay close to their birth place. I don't know how accurate this is but that's what I read. I am inclined to believe this coz I know a person who has this placement.Posted by Alphahappy homelife, it's similar to having cancer Jupiter. um I read in a lot o sites that it has nothing to do with that.
a jupitreian in the 4th can mean they have "home" and made a home.
http://theastrologyplacemembership.com/2014/07/jupiter-in-4th-house/
"Those with Jupiter in the 4th house possess an inner sense of joy, jubilance, and happiness, especially in the home life where much inner searching, wandering, and questing is happening. The inner-depths of the individual reveal a generous soul, especially when it comes to family and there could be a large set of people residing at home to share in all the fun, but the person may also express the archer through spiritual, religious and intuitive themes in their private life. It could be a place the type likes to retreat to ponder the meaning of life, and often security comes from knowing that life has to mean something. In astrology, Jupiter rules the greater good and often defends itself against the threat of meaninglessness. When Jupiter is in the 4th house the person may feel closer to God, or feel a sense of goodness when closest to home.
Jupiter, rules over the individual’s inner faith, wonder, and it is often thought that only sages or wise people could unlock the knowledge that leads the individual towards this sense of meaning. It never usually takes one question, but many and Jupiter people have filled countless books with these big questions about life, and its significance. Jupiter in the 4th house often suggests a rich ancestry, a colourful background, and good family; it may also indicate relatives abroad. The home itself may large and there will need to be a feeling space, freedom and room to grow in the place of residence. Usually great hospitality is shown at home and a huge amount of value may be placed on their roots, with childhood feeling like one big adventure where the person was allowed to roam around a lot, and there was a great deal of fun"

if Jupiter bestows generosity and so much luck, it just means you share your wisdom.

Posted by nevesmaybe that might be true, that they're only liked for their financial status. And, in truth they really are. Because, people in general admire people who can climb the ladder of success and utilize that in a generous and in a good way/ with integrity. It is much more positive than someone who uses the ladder of success (editing) THAN someone or individuals in the Mafia dark underground, black market world. see the big differences? Some choose to walk in the path of LAW and where rules are to be honoured.
But, Jupiter is a gas giant! Building a house on Jupiter - doesn't seem that feasible...
Then again, i'm not an cosmic architect (what do i know?). JK! ^^
....
Astrology wise, Jupiter is the planet of expansion/growth. Its position in a astro-sign shows how expand our horizons (our process of growth) - while the house shows where (as defined by that given house). For most part - it's seen as a gifted placement (if not the most gifted) - the most positive - even a source of hope/optimism... while overindulgence (going overboard) - or being overly-optimistic - could be some of the negative traits tied to Jupiter. Then again, same negative tendencies - can apply to Neptune as well (since it can bring down our boundaries), with one big difference... With Jupiter - you can be conscious - that you're going overboard - maybe even wise enough to see that possibility... while with Neptune - you're unconscious (same as being drunk - which after all - is related to Neptune). Same goes for being overly-optimistic, with Jupiter - that hope might have some basis in reality, while with Neptune... things might look really bad (doomed for quite some time... desperate even) - and everybody around can see that - but you still have some hope - one that's based on delusions.
Since it's a gifted placement, Jupiter is one of those planet that - might fit well anywhere (or at least better than the rest). It's something - that others might appreciate about (same goes for self-appreciation - what you like about yourself). So, when it comes - to houses (the where), i guess it depends on whom you're asking. For example a direct Jupiter in 2nd house - can imply financial growth (one could be more gifted in this regard), so - if you're to have that placement - it depends - if you're ok with being appreciated for your financial status (the main thing people might like about you - if not the only thing, even loved ones).

Sharon Tate, Roman Polanski, Jeff Buckley, Martin Luther King.

obviously not all, as George Clooney, Barack Obama ect above are doing well.

With Jupiter retrograde in your 11'th house - you might have an introverted outlook on friendship and social groups (people in general). You'd rather have couple of friends (or even one) - with whom you can expand your world (mostly - your inner world, as in - the wisdom you could gain from those friendships). While with Jupiter direct - one might have lots of friends - where the growth takes places mostly on the outside (for example - someone who travels a lot - someone who makes lots of friends from all over the world - lots of connections - and that's something that brings one a sense of growth).

George Clooney has this, too, , and he also has Juno Pisces in the 12th!!! that's double trouble.
and according to many sites, anything pisces juno or 12th house juno, their first marriage is trouble and not good, because it is due to the delusions and illusions that you can't (the individual) see, very Piscean.
so he never married for years after that, only dating, and it seemed for him, it was late age to finally choose.
Maturity was much needed.
What house would you say is worse placement for Jupiter?
Thank you for informing me about Juno

7th house, imo 😛

Those with Jupiter in the 7th house can experience popularity with others. Carter says that placements in this sphere of life can lead to personal publicity; it usually works well in areas of promoting other people, and some do well in sales as they can spin anything into something more. There are many different ways Jupiter could manifest; it could be the marker of those that share knowledge with others, a person of wide-ranging interests, or someone with great enthusiasm.
Here we find a person with a large capacity for social learning, the type that is capable of broadening the worlds of others, teaching people in some capacity. Partnerships entered could involve travelling, learning, and legal studies. Jupiter here could indicate an interest in law. Whatever the importance there tends to be a high sense of ethics and morality in the way the person approaches all others. Those he or she partners with could be an indicator of a profitable union. Many 7th house planets work in close association, partnerships of all kinds and the general public. Jupiter found in this position is often good for business connections. Plenty of opportunities come through others often arriving without any real effort, they gain support from wealthy benefactors."

Posted by lisabethur8That's not what i meant. Some people people might feel really uncomfortable - while realizing that - they're only appreciated for their best trait, be it - their financial status, their appearance, their intellect or some way - in which they're popular. Since that's just one piece of their pie (one part of whom they are). And if that part looses its shine - the ones that appreciated them for that part alone - are bound to loose their interest. 🙂Posted by nevesmaybe that might be true, that they're only liked for their financial status. http://theastrologyplacemembership.com/2014/06/jupiter-in-8th-house/
"An individual with Jupiter in the 8th house has great enthusiasm, optimism, and spirit when approaching taboo areas, other people’s money, even the psychic realm. Jupiter in this position may have a great attitude to the aspects of life that others find far more uncomfortable and it is a place where the individual seeks increased understanding in areas ruling the inner planes of life, the deep level of existence, and the life-death cycle.
Jupiter in the astrology chart represents an area of growth, travel, wealth and feeling of freedom. According to Stephen Arroyo, there was one lady with this placement who said that dying sounded like a great adventure. The 8th house rules physical death, but also ego-death and as the house of transformation something usually has to die to be reborn. With this in mind, we often find an individual that may help others transform their attitudes, beliefs and assumptions about death and dying; this Jupiter placement could also be extremely spiritual, possessing plenty of emotional resourcefulness. The parts of life that could change for the person could be an old attitude, a change in their belief system, and this has often been called a blessing in disguise in the way the person holds a positive attitude to crisis, trauma or the handling of joint resources, but also the good that comes out the bad."

Posted by neveswell to be honest, there's not much we can do. there are all types of people out there. If that's what they want to do with their lives, to attach to the powerful wealthy and enjoy their fruits of labour, that's what it is. I don't think these people are bad people either, I've seen people who love that , sort of like a groupie in a rock band. *shrug* not much we can do, so let them enjoy themselves. Most super wealthy people are clever and sleuth like so they probably use these types too. it's kind of like a shared osmosis thing.Posted by lisabethur8That's not what i meant. As Marilyn Monroe put it:![]()
Though, it depends. If we're to take in consideration the 2nd house - from a financial point of view (it's also tied - to self worth - if not especially), some people are obsessed with money and it doesn't bother them - if someone appreciates them - mainly, for that reason. On the contrary, in a "there's someone for everyone" - type pf way, they're actually fond of that type of people (gold diggers - for example). Since their perspective of others - is objectified (they see people - as they would see an object - as if they pay or invest money in it - to serve them for a given purpose). This perspective - can be quite useful in the business world. For those who can be that cold/detached - it can easier to climb the ladder of financial success - since they can treat people like a piece property (a mean to an end) - that's easy exploit and discard - when they're done with it. And all is legal from the outside - since they're also good at finding loopholes in the legal system. As history goes to prove - until it gets in the media (some unfortunate incidents - that reflects their exploitative ways) - most of those who are involved - are aware, but they turn a blind eye - on what's going on.

because of 2nd house of wealth, materialism, all things physical, taurean?
Bill Gates has 2nd house Jupiter.
his wife, Melinda has 2nd house Jupiter.
Taurus sun /Cap moon Adolf Hitler has Jupiter Capricorn in the 3rd. He was accumulating wealth during his time, but it's in the fall in Cap, and it could mean (if he deals in less than a stellar way, which he has) it could mean downfall on his wealth.
i read that 8th house Jupiter, awhile back, that the individual will inherit.
is it similar with 2nd house? This is another example of 2nd house Jupiter, Aquarius sun, Princess Charlene of Monaco.
net worth 150 million.
her Pisces husband, Prince Albert, Jupiter 5th house.
