3rd house...

Best description? Your personal experience with the 3rd house, what signs and planets are here in your chart?

In three words, critical, over analyzing shit, and a splash of OCD.. damn it.. Virgo in the third house.

Taurus saturn is in my 3rd house, I learn differently than most people. Did badly in school but I'm pretty intelligent. I had to take algebra twice before it stuck, and when I was learning fractions, no one could teach me the concept...I just didn't get it. This suns up me pretty well.

"It can take a long time for you to learn something, and it might seem like you don’t care about learning on the surface because of that. When you dedicate yourself to learning something, you’ll stick with it until you’ve got it, no matter how long it takes, and you’ll remember it for the rest of your life. Learning could be easier for you when you involve your senses, and you can take in knowledge using what you see, hear, smell, taste, and touch to help you. Playing soft music while studying or trying to absorb something new could help as well."

With your natal Saturn in your 3rd house, you can have a hard time dealing with your daily life, everyday tasks, and your routine. You may shy away from your neighbors, have trouble talking to cashiers, get into accidents in your neighborhood, and feel bored with daily life even though you resist changing your routine. If you have siblings, you or one of them may have been like a parent, or you didn’t get along well. Electronics may seem like your enemy, always breaking down somehow, and you may go through clunkers with cars (though if you’d cough up enough dough, you might not have as many lemons).

MAKE me believe their views over mine with logic. I haven't found anyone interested enough to do that, though. Thus, I'm on an eternal quest.

Wow, it's like a vicious circle. I can actually relate to most of this, except I don't know if I want them to prove me wrong, I think I really want to be right haha. I have Mars in Gemini so... I also have it in the 12th house though, unfortunately.

I'm not accident prone at all, but I can be clumsy sometimes. I did grow up with an older sister (Cancer sun) who always yrued to mother me and I HATED it. We never got along and still don't. I haven't seen her un 10 years.

I don't like chatting with strangers and certain things I learn very quickly, but I have to be interested in the topic to even try. Ao I'm really good at some things, and other things I suck at, but that doesn't bother me.

I forgot to mention that my 3rd house is gemini. Maybe that's why you can relate, with your mars in gemini.

Wow... I have Saturn in H3, too-- but it's in Cancer.

Apparently cancer in 3rd house only shows some difficulty learning in the early years. But generally, it's a good house placement.

Once you commit something to memory, you’ll never forget it. You have one of the longest memories out there, especially when it comes to anything that impacts you emotionally. You never forget the emotions you felt and that coursed through others in any given situation. While this makes you understanding, it can also make it hard for you to be objective. Learning may have been difficult for you as a child, and it makes you sensitive when it comes to learning as an adult. If you have siblings, they likely played an important role in your childhood.

Venus in Capricorn, 3rd house

I am a better writer than speaker due to my Sagi Mercury...but when I remember to think before speaking, I am pretty good with words.

I'm a fast learner and never have to put in much effort to learn new things.

It's true-- crazy the things I can remember.

And I never did well, learning by rote.

But I always had my nose in a book... so I did alright.

I would think so, since 3rd is the house of Gemini.

My 3rd house stretches over Aqua and Pisces: I've got Mercury, Moon and Sun there. Venus is also on its cusp, but still in the 2nd house.

Probably what makes me one of the Rationals (NT=intuition and thinking) in the Myers Briggs personality text.

Uhmm...it's hard to be objective and analyze this house. Ironically, I spend a lot of time analyzing and "overthinking" stuff, except thinking is fuel for me.
Sun, Moon and Mercury conjunct in the 3rd. Love reading, listening, watching stuff I can learn from, learning, learning, learning, not a good teacher but it feels good when I can help someone to learn something new, writing, re-visiting stuff I've written, read, heard or seen and re-thinking it all, again, again, again.🙂
