Cancer in the 8th house probably means your deal with 8th house issues in a motherly/protective way or that you have issues with your mother.Do you have issues with your mother?

Why do you say that TIN? I have a family member with Sag Asc and Cancer 8th house and she doesn't have the greatest life. She's overly opptimistic about everything and doesn't approach life or 8th house issues in a motherly way.

I tend to think all my placements are the best ever and I even have mars and saturn there in my 8th and that's supposed to be the worst but I like them there - sag optimism maybe? But honestly I think cancer in this house isn't bad, I am super good with other ppls money, and the other things this house deals with. I can make you some money ?
