Cardinal-Fixed-Mutable Work Situation

Cardinals are supposed to be leaders and the heads of organisations.

But in real life, I have seen the mutables reaching the top, Cardinals working under them, which is obviously not a stable situation. Hence, the Cardinals ultimately leave because they can't stand the changing stands of the Mutable boss and of course, they won't take orders.

Thus, the Cardinals keep on floating from one workplace to another, while the Mutables build their position of authority.

About fixed, I am quite intrigued at workplace. I know of two Scorpios at a workplace, both absolutely opposite to each other. One is a dependable, hard working person, who keeps the organisation running with his efforts. The other, in the same organisation, doesn't want to work at all, finds excuses, comes late and is not very honest in work.

The boss is a mutable, who supports the lazy Scorpio unreasonably, though he pretends to follow strict rules.

Most other employees in this place are Aries and Canceians - working under a mutable boss.

I also know of a few Aquarius, all of whom try to get money without doing the work they are supposed to do. They seem to be stuck in a place because they won't finish the training they are supposed to finish to move ahead in work (Perhaps this is what "fixed" means).

No offence to anyone, but I find these Aquarians quite average in intelligence. They are not the geniuses they are supposed to be. I am not talking about all Aquarians, but this is how these ones are.

Does anyone else have any experiences of Cardinal-Fixed-Mutables at workplace?

My favorite boss has been a Cancer. Im under a Virgo now who I liked, literally, until a week ago when he told me to stop doing something.

I've worked under a Pisces as well. The only criticism I have for the mutables is that they can show favoritism.

I think Cancers are best as bosses out of the cardinals. Mutables are adaptable and open to learning and change, plus they have better attitudes, which seems to be key in moving up these days. Cardinals are usually not the friendliest, and rely the least on networking IMO.

I've had a Scorpio boss too. I was sick as a dog and she asked if I could work another hour or two. I never liked her much after that.

Taurus was cool and laid back. Made the most money under her.

I guess overall I've worked the least under other Cardinals. Where I'm at now, I'm directly under a Virgo, who is under a Gemini. Guess Mutables do win.

In my previous organisation, my immediate boss was a Virgo. I thought he was good, till he began to play politics against me. So I asked to be moved to another department, where I was under a Gemini, who began as a nice person, but suddenly changed and stabbed me in the back. The boss above these two was a Sagittarius, with whom I got along very well. He protected me for a long time against these people's politics.

The Director above everyone else was a Cancer and he was fine. He supported me in my bad times. But finally he left. The mutables had completely controlled that organisation and under them were the employees who were Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn - all Cardinals!

Gradually most of the Cardinals left that place, including me, because they couldn't survive the Gemini-Virgo politics, while the Sagittarius boss otherwise was nice, but he wouldn't take any action against them.

I went to work in another place under a Capricorn, who was a control freak. People didn't work under him for long. But he didn't deal with the employees most of the time. The woman who was there most of the time to deal with the employees was a Virgo - again a mutable.

Yes, perhaps you're right that Cancer makes the best head of an organisation.

I think Aries are best working by themselves or in a situation where they don't have anyone above them.

I don't know how a Libra boss would be. I have never seen a Libra becoming the head of an organisation. Most of the bosses I have seen have been mutables.

That makes at least a few Libras not very leader-like! All other bosses of yours were Fixed signs. Leo is known to be very controlling and autocratic, though they can be fun when in good mood.

I have worked with a Pisces - another mutable sign - who spent hours repeating stories about his college days. He gave us clerical work to do for which we were not hired. I left the job in 10 days. But on the face he was always good.

Yes, Sagittarius can be good at the top, but he can also be very lenient towards the bad workers and this doesn't go down well with the hard workers.

So, here we have some examples of Fixed Signs reaching the top. Not many Cardinals doing well at the top.
