My sun and Venus are in Scorpio. Moon is sagittarius.

I am Pisces sun/First decan Virgo moon/Aqua venus. I was closer to my mom, First decan Virgo sun/Cap moon/Libra venus. My dad was kind of cold and standoffish, but he has gotten warmer with age. He's a Scorpio sun, his moon is on the Leo/Virgo cusp and he doesn't know his time of birth, but our moons are conjunct either way, and he has scorpio venus.
Virgos and water signs seem to have a connection for sure. The rest seem to line up as well. More than your father's placements. Interesting

I'd say I was a little closer with my mom...
She has a Aqua sun, Sag moon and venus.

I am adopted from birth, I am a Taurus Sun and Venus and Cancer Mooner, and have always been closer to my mom who is a Pisces sun, Virgo Moon and Aries Venus.
When I was really young I was also really close with my dad but that changed as I grew up and he is a Sag Sun, Moon Aries and Venus Libra.
My dad is very old school, though, and therefore subscribes to the whole "fathers are for financial support, mothers emotional, developmental, and everything else" mantra.
I have recently been in touch with my birth mother, who is a Virgo Sun, Moon Aries and Venus Leo. So far she seems really sweet and I am starting to understand a lot more about my own personality through her, as I have a lot in common with her as well as my half sister (also a Virgo) and it is really cool to know my personal background now. While I share a lot of traits with my real family (the ones who raised me) I am amused at how validating it is knowing my actual background and why I have certain tastes in food and even personality quirks that I share with my birth family.

None. Im not close with any of my parents. Was raised by my grandma who is a Gemini Sun, Taurus moon. My mom is a Libra Sun, Virgo Moon, and my Dad was a Sagitarrius Sun, Libra Moon(just discovered his bday cause no one in my family ever told me his birthday so I found it on my birthcertificate.Im a Pisces Sun(1st house) , Aquarius Moon in the 12th house

I was close to both at different times in my life...but more to my dad later on...Mom: Capricorn Sun / Cancer Moon / Aqua Venus

*Weird fact -This is the first time i ever looked up my moms chart. She always said she was an Aqua but according to two different sites shes a Capricorn ( near cusp ). My parents are born on back to back days though years apart. They have identical charts other than the sun sign.

Actually, she came looking for me, and I grew up knowing I was adopted from birth and it never bothered me and I never would have gone looking myself, but I am glad she took the initiative. It made things less awkward for me.
It took me a long time to respond, like, years, because I was dealing with a lot of stuff so I wasn't really emotionally prepared (it didn't bother me but I felt more like my parents and my brother were more freaked out by it), and I even tried to find a way to find her on facebook first or something and that took a long, long time. Then I did, and it took me months before I tried to contact her on messenger but they went into the message request folder a lot of people don't notice, so I waited a bit, then contacted her daughter and was like hey, this is your half sister and I have tried contacting birth mom and have not had a response and I don't want to impede if this is bad timing or if I should let it go, let me know, and if you want to know anything about your half sister, feel free to chat me up.
She was like "Are you kidding? She's been trying to contact you for years!" so she called her mom up and apparently she was really happy and excited and she finally was able to talk with me.

Who knows! lol. It was hella awkward at my grandma's funeral - my father didn't say anything to me, no hugs, nothing, barely looked at me...his Taurus wife hugged me a few times throughout that weekend though, that was nice as her and I have never really been close.
But I'm closer to my mom and stepdad and it's probably because my father was never really a family man, he was single into his 30's and I'm his only child. My mom had 3 kids by age 23, but never got married until well into her 30's as well - but she at least was a mom, like...I lived with her and she took care of me and stuff. With my dad it was more of a convenience thing ya know, I'd see him on holidays and he'd take me school shopping and out to dinner here and there, but the older I got the less and less time we'd spend together...I have never felt bonded to him but I do feel somewhat bonded to my stepdad. Idk, it is what it is lol 🙂

I had that connection with him before I could even use words..."father" was my first one despite my mother and grandmother going "say mother". She loathed our closeness.

What made your Grandfather such a great role model?
He was wise. Understanding, caring, he listened. We would sit together and he would talk about what was important in life, and he just spent time with me - fishing, camping, playing catch ( which I loved to do but no one would spend time doing it with me).
Unfortunately, he lived across the country from me so we didn't see him much. But my brother & I did spent two summers with our grandparents & it was amazing. My mom sent us there because she couldn't afford a babysitter.. later on when I was in my 20's both grandparents apologized for not being able to be there more. They knew I needed it. But the time I did get made a big difference.
He told me about fifteen years ago when I was going through a rough time: Remember the important things, and the rest will fall into place. I still think about that comment, especially when things are tough. Grandpa lives on always 🙂

I'm about to have a daughter and I think about this sometimes when reading info on here...
I was closer to my Scorpio Mom rather than my Cancer Dad...but actually my Aqua Grandma was the one who I felt a closer bond with as I grew up. My mom was super secretive, but she also was there for me. We got along so much more than my Cancer dad and I.
I'm a Libra sun and moon with a Scorp Venus.
