I always wondered if there was a hierachy of attraction for a person to be attracted to another person on a first meeting basis. For example:
Since a woman's Sun and Mars tell what she looks for in a man, which is she more likely develop an attraction to: (a) man with no Sun-Sun relationship but positive Mars-Venus activity in both ways, (b) a man with a Sun square Sun but her Sun is trine his Venus, (c) a man with his Sun semi-sextile her Sun but his Venus is conjunct her Sun, or (d) a man with no Sun-Sun relationship and no Mars-Venus activity but his rising sun makes good aspects to either her Sun or Mars.
sexually, i would say positive mars-venus synastry going both ways, especially the conjunction and occasionally the square. i think when his sun conjuncts her sun, he may appear to be very attractive to her, but attraction-wise, it may have to go further into ascendant and aspects to her personal planets.
i prefer the mars-venus activity, be it harmonious or disharmoius. but it's probably more due to lust than anything else. the sun-moon connection is also something that is able to pull me.
i would think that a man's sun conjunct a woman's venus may ignite some sparks because the sun is masculine and venus is feminine. i'm usually not very attracted to men who have their venus conjunct my sun. they don't seem bold enough for me, but then again, my venus is in virgo. (i've yet to run into anyone with a mars in virgo.) my mars is in leo, and i find leos to be really attractive...but there's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. some are cool, and some are just plain annoying and obnoxious. taurus men are also attractive in my opinion, but the mars square sun aspect can drive me up the wall sometimes. plus, they land in my 7th (house of marriage and open enemies).
wow, i think i'm think i'm just rambling by now, lol. but just from my personal experience, the sun-moon and mars-venus , and sometimes the sun-mars aspects really does something for me. long term-wise, i think the sun-moon is a better bet.
let's throw in uranus, i really like uranus. especially when it makes contact with mars and/or venus. it's like a bang, but isn't very stable. but hey, it was fun while it lasted, lol.
