How many square aspects do you have in your chart?

Also feel free to post them and share how you're dealing with them, or struggling, or how you have overcome them.

I have 4. I think the hardest one is Sun square Saturn. I am ambitious but it takes too long for success so my enthusiasm wanes. I also find that when I let my sun take control, something always comes along to snuff it out.

I have 3 main ones.

Sun square Saturn 6 degrees
Mars square Saturn 6 degrees
Saturn square Pluto 1 degree

2 ascendant ones
Ascendant square Uranus 8 degrees (don't know if 8 is still counted or not)
Ascendant square Neptune 8 degrees

My Saturn ones are obviously the most troublesome. I have a very defensive personality. I never even realized it, but people would comment on it all the time. It's like I defend myself when no defenses are necessary. Like let's say someone says "wow you're car is messy right now". I rebut with "I know, I can't help it. I'm always on the go and I practically live in here." This happened once. I wasn't even really being defensive in my eyes. Just explaining myself. Well, I've had a lot of that my entire life. I'm trying to get better at it, but I never know how to respond other than to state why or why not something is happening in my life.

"They long to be considered important in the eyes of the world, yet they harbor fear of success at the same time. They take failures and minor setbacks to heart, and some practically beat themselves up over them. Self-awareness to the point of real self-consciousness is characteristic of Sun-Saturn challenging aspects. The truth is, nobody holds a microscope over them, except for themselves. A little setback or a faux pas needn't be analyzed to death. Fingers needn't be pointed. No, they didn't make a spectacle of themselves when they made a mistake. They need to stop worrying about always being right, or appearing suave and accomplished. When they ease the pressure they put on themselves, they find that they don't face as many brick walls. It is very much about what they feel they deserve. Deep down inside, if they let themselves truly believe that they deserve happiness and peace of mind, they will find it."

Very true for me. I am the hardest on myself. I am very self-conscious I would say, and my Virgo moon doesn't help. I am so self-aware sometimes that it is hard to NOT focus on self-awareness. I can't have fun sometimes, because I'm focused on my actions, my words and my appearance. Then there are the other days where idgaf lol. So its hit or miss. I have grown quite well into opening up more, but three years ago I would not be able to say the same thing. I also don't take authority very well.... I don't like to be told what to do or how to do it. I like to do things my way. I do respect others, but my sup right now at my job is actually a friend of mine. Libra sun/moon/ascendant/Merc. I give him shit all the time. I can't STAND when he tells me what to do or gets bossy. It's his job, but it's almost like I was built to resent his authority. I feel bad, and today we had a one on one (review of the past month's performance - I'm in retail), and I really toned down my attitude and chilled out. It took a lot...I really want to do better for him. I am knowledgable of the business and need to take responsibility and behave. I really do respect him. Sometimes its

Sometimes it's just hard*

Saturn really fucked shit up in my chart!

Not too bad though considering I know a guy who has:
Moon sq. Venus
Venus sq. Saturn
Venus sq. Neptune
Venus sq. Uranus
Mercury sq. Pluto

He has no positive Venus aspects (except Juno conjunct Venus) and one sextile for his moon which is with Pluto. His moon is conjunct Neptune...but I don't know if thats looked at as a positive or negative aspects since conjunct can be heavy.

His emotional life and love life are very troubled. He also has a 12th house moon in Capricorn. He buries himself in drugs and addiction...most likely to help the pain that he hides. It's very sad to see...breaks my heart.

These are good aspects to me.

Humor is...really out there.

What do you mean by that? Also you have them too *hi five*

I mean humor is out of the box.

You will make a lot of people go "huh?" at your random moments.

To me that's a + aspect, not a - one

jupiter square uranus

saturn square pluto

Looking at astro.com which shows aspects with wider orbs, as well.

@degenerate_ingenue, my venus also has no positive aspects , moon in 12th house. I have moon conjunct merc. Only difference is I have one other aspect to the moon. My love life is pretty awesome and I'm doing just fine, though. Looks like he chose a different path to walk down, and maybe had some bad things pushed upon him if his home life was bad.

@MyEulogy90 wow i've never heard of a grand cross before. what does that mean for you?

From what I've read it really depends on the quality of the cross between cardinal, fixed, and mutable. Since mine is a fixed cross I suppose it signifies great tension and stagnation in life which I can definitely relate to. It's also supposedly a chance to overcome the energies that are pulling from each opposition/square to try to accomplish a great deal according to some interpretations.

Aw man I feel bad for your friend 😢
And at least you know your hard aspects and can understand why you're going through this stuff, I guess that's a plus.

yeah I mean I really caught on after getting into astrology. before I was more so in denial and figured everyone was being dramatic about my defensive behavior and it just annoyed me and made me more irritated. honestly it kind of helped me notice things by learning about astrology. I'm using it to better myself.

and yeah 😢 poor little leeb. I love him outside of work. he's just very much of a micromanager and I already don't like authority so when he demands things I sometimes cop an attitude because of his tone. still love him tho and he knows it so it's ok. I apologized for my "insubordinate" behavior

DAMN.

Look at that chart.

A LEO who calls her/himself MyEulogy would have

a chart like that... and in all the fixed signs.

*marvels*

Every planet in my chart has a square or an opposition except for mercury, so I rather feel the lack of challenging aspects than the presence of the existing ones, so it's not that bad - I'm used to it. 😉
