...when figuring someone out. Check the house pluto is in natally. Of course if it's in the last 5 degrees of a house, it counts more as the next house.

http://www.southfloridaastrologer.com/pluto-in-the-houses.html

I checked my brother's -1st house, spot on, trusts very few people, big on eye contact, to see what they can find out about them, always finds the right question that will teach him what he needs to know about the person. I've always been surprised how he asks these uncomfortable but intelligent questions.

other family members - 11th house, ABSOLUTELY DOES figure out who the leader of a group is, and how to wield power in her favor...tends to drop the individual in favor of the group...
12th house - rough childhood where she seemed to not matter, yes! Lonely child, knows how to secretly find the power points she can use to get on top in a job or social group.

Me - 3rd house, l do always find the words with the most impact, l sense the activities in my neighborhood, especially the shady ones, l can be a loud destructive neighbor...anyway, enough 🙂 just try it it's really amazing.

Pluto in the 5th House...

Any creative pursuit is taken seriously when Pluto is found in the fifth house. When the chart holder wants to engage in self-expression, they choose the medium carefully and are sure to display only their best works to the world. Often the chart holder will take self-expression too seriously to enjoy it. Their need to create perfect art can squash their creative spirit. At its best, however, a fifth-house Pluto gives the chart holder a determination and focus which enables them to create outstanding works of creativity. Romantically, these chart holders are hot or cold. If they are interested, the object of their desire will know it and enjoy the tremendous passion of the fifth-house Pluto. If they aren't, Pluto's icy nature shows through quite clearly and the "back off" message is easily understood. Pluto's intense nature also applies to children when Pluto is located in the fifth house. The chart holder takes the idea of parenthood seriously and may purposely delay having children or may have problems in completing a pregnancy. Once children do arrive, Pluto in the fifth house continues to take the job of parenthood seriously and children are a priority in the chart holder's life.

Hmm..sounds like me. I have Pluto in ascendant...was told a while back that means Pluto in 1st house , idk if true though.
Well first it would be "on" the ascendant. Because it's a point. It's the beginning of the first house. And l always assumed you can read the destription of both "planet conjunct ascendant" AND "planet in first house".
It's such a focused placement, you must have many social skills.

Pluto in the 2nd House...

Pluto in the second house can play out in a few ways. There may be large gains and losses of money and possessions with this placement, or Pluto may simply be its usual controlling self and create an atmosphere of intense control over finances that never relents and loses ground. Either way, there are likely to be intense feelings surrounding earning money and gaining possessions. Often there is drama over ownership issues and any losses incurred by the chart holder. With a second-house Pluto, values are held passionately. The chart holder's ideas about what makes their life valuable and enjoyable are not negotiable. Valued objects and any activities that bring pleasure are guarded vigilantly, and any attempt to make a second-house Pluto person compromise them is met with clear and direct force.

Pluto in the 10th House... mine is ay 22 degress

Once Pluto in the tenth house sets its sights on success, it doesn't look back. No one can be trusted and everyone is the competition for these chart holders. They often have a mysterious or ruthless persona. Their focus on success is serious business and they can actually become so obsessed with it that they burn bridges and sabotage themselves in their effort to cut out the competition. Think of Richard Nixon who had a tenth-house Pluto. Of course, if they do end as victims of their own secretive and vindictive behavior, they have the regenerative power to rebuild and learn from their mistakes. These chart holders do well in any career where they can put their probing, secretive and untrusting ways to good for a specific use. Working as an undercover detective or interrogator is perfect for them. Psychological works that require probing and the ability to avoid being duped by nonsense excuses for a client's behavior is also a good pick. Pluto in the tenth house is rarely taken advantage of and does not give up a fight. If anything takes them down, it's usually their own mistrust of the world that backfires on them because the world stops trusting them.

I have always thought I could make a good detective. Can't hide nothin' from me...

There's paths for not secretive people too.

My Pluto is in the 10th house and conjuncting my MC.
I try always to go into depth at my job. And I progpagate my knowledge. In the IT world it is better to have colleagues up-to-date than competing with them. This is at least how I look at it.
So I' big at communication, spread my notes to my colleagues or substititues, I read factual emails which can be looked up ten years later or after my death.
The same with my source code comments. I try to keep them expressive but in short sentences. Ok, that's my evaluation. Not sure if the others see it the same way. But I am still trusted and wanted at my job.

Pluto in the 7th House...

A suspicious, intense and untrusting nature is common when Pluto is in the seventh house. These chart holders will try their best to decipher their partner's motives in any interaction. Acutely aware of the subtleties of human relationship, seventh-house Pluto chart holders are patient and probing. They will not get involved in a friendship, love relationship or business partnership unless they feel satisfied that they have sufficiently examined the person and have a complete understanding of their purpose and intentions in the relationship. Seventh-house Pluto chart holders are also sensitive to which person in an interaction holds the most power, and if it isn't them, they will try to win it. Any person is a possible threat, so everyone is treated that way. Seventh-house Pluto people or people with Scorpio on their descendant are attracted to Scorpio-like people who are careful and intense.

Yes, I agree with this^^^ people have to "make sense" to me...if there are holes in their story or overall picture of their life makes no sense I can't trust them. Essentially they don't make sense to me. And I'm usually right 😉

Pluto at 9 degrees 10th house but in retrograde, would thay matter?

Pluto in the 10th House...
Pluto in the tenth house is rarely taken advantage of and does not give up a fight. If anything takes them down, it's usually their own mistrust of the world that backfires on them because the world stops trusting them.
Pluto in the 11th House...
Acutely aware of the power dynamics in groups, casual friendships and societal institutions, Pluto in the eleventh house is serious about interactions in these areas of life. When these chart holders walk into a group setting, they immediately sense the power structure and make sure they don't fall into a position offering little power. They will sense who is in charge and will immediately try to determine their motivation as well as the motivation of the group. Constantly keeping a guard against the possibility of being exploited by the power of groups or organizations is exhausting driving some of these chart holders to avoid these settings. They may dodge governmental institutions whenever possible and steer clear of any group activities. It's difficult for them to trust people they just meet because they are haunted by a feeling that there is something the person will want from them other than just friendship. When the chart holder does find people who they deem trustworthy, they value them greatly. These chart holders have tight social networks involving few people who they trust.

Pluto in 1st descriptions are always short and dull

Gimme a research papel
Suspicious by nature, first-house Pluto people are always on guard for the people who are looking to take advantage of them. They are careful in their interactions with people and new situations, often asking the right questions in order to gain insight into the true nature of the person or situation they are encountering. At the same time, they reveal very little about themselves. This is a defensive behavior and works to maintain their sense of control. Intense eye contact is often found with first-house Pluto people during interactions with new people as they feel they may gain information from peering into the eyes.

Pffft....how come pluto in every other house shows where the person has power, but pluto in the 8th...where it is at HOME...states;

Finding the ability to "let go" of power in relationships and finding the ability to let life takes its course without trying to manipulate it frees Pluto in the eighth house to find happiness.

So, pluto in 8th has to LET GO of power? I don't get it.
This site's good, long description. Don't forget to check aspects. Big influence on the end result.

In the second

Have these strong urges for physical needs, I've done some underhanded things for money and as a child I obsessed over it yet it mean nothing and I view it as a way to control us all.

I devalue money. It means nothing to me
Interesting, l have Saturn in second l find it hard to make money, it's very important for me, l need a very stable job, l have more money as l get older. Pluto must be alright there, very determined to get money, also your skin and muscle mass is influenced by second house,

I look into people's eyes alot, just to see who they are. Because like the quote says, "eyes are the windows to the soul." with new people I have my guard up and just investigate them, watch them from a distance. And if I can trust them then I'll come up to them. Some people are scared of my eyes because of how dark they are. I know it's a basic color but when it comes to my eyes ppl are scared. They say "your eyes are pretty, but scary sometimes. Seems to have some type of depth within them like you've seen and know many things" which is unfortunately true

Pluto in the 4th house...

Unconscious power struggles are found when Pluto is in the fourth house. In childhood, the power struggles are usually between the parents of the chart holder and perceived by the child, but these struggles also occur between the chart holder and parents especially as the chart holder reaches puberty. The death of a close family member during the chart holder's childhood is sometimes experienced as Pluto is the planet of death and new beginnings. This death may not be literal, but can be experienced as the death of a marriage because of divorce or the death of a parent's career. A fourth-house Pluto may also be experienced as a controlling atmosphere in the childhood home. At least one parent is perceived as intense and controlling. As an adult, the chart holder with Pluto in the fourth house inevitably feels tension at home. The control theme is always present and the question is always whether to relinquish control to other family members or hold onto power. There are often secrets in the family heritage that are not addressed.

This is very true. I don't get along with my parents at all, always power struggle.

Pluto in the 9th house.

Passionate about their opinions on the rules the world should follow, those with Pluto in their ninth-house are not easily swayed into new philosophies or ideas about religion or politics. However, as Pluto is the planet of rebirth and renewal, at some point in their lives, these chart holders are likely to have a complete reversal or revamping of their policital, philosophical or religious ideas. Until then, however, they will hold on tightly to their views and will argue vehemently to defend them. Their opinions on how the world should operate can be so deeply held that they appear to operate unconsciously as a part of who they are rather than as ideas which are separate from them and can be debated.

Sounds like me in a way. I do contemplate world issues, philosophy, religion, and politics quite often amd yes my opinions play a big part of who I am. However I dont know too much about reversing my opinions. I mean my opinions have grown and altered a bit as I matured but not a whole lot.

That is not at all why l asked, it's about your opinions and how they might grow and change....usually that happens in your 20's and 30's, and older...20 is still very young. Maybe you'll have life changing events in the future.

As children, those with twelfth-house Plutos feel powerless. There may be extremely inflamed emotional issues in the family, and the child's needs, wants and desires are seen as not important and are ignored. The child has no sense of how to make themselves vital, contributing members of the family. Resentment builds, and as the child is keenly aware of how power is distributed and wielded in the family, they grow into adults who understand and sense power dynamics better than most. But the feeling of having their own power constantly extinguished never fades, so they learn to work secretly and behind the scenes to exert their power. Finding back doors and ways to wedge their influence into situations becomes a theme for them, and they live with a nagging sense of resentment toward anyone who seems powerful. They long to present themselves as openly powerful but are instead forever frustrated. In the best scenario, twelfth-house Pluto chart holders are able to use their hidden talent of understanding even the most subtle workings of power to make a career. They gain their own power from their success at work. Detective work, politics or any field that allows them to examine or manipulate power struggles or structures from behind the scenes is perfect for them. At their best, they can also be extremely empathetic and passionate about helping the powerless in society. At their worst, they allow the resentment towards those who they perceive as powerful to fester in their unconscious, and they perform vengeful acts without even being fully aware of their intent and possible harm.

agree, actually having trouble understanding whether it's pluto first house or 12th house. because pluto lies in sag which is the ascendant :/
I have pluto in the 12th. If you feel like you always go back to old issues or if you feel powerless, it's probably pluto in the 12th. If you feel like you can see through people or if they're scared of you, it's pluto in the 1st.

Pluto in the 3rd House...

Power struggles and control issues are often a problem in early schooling with Pluto in the third house of a natal chart. There are likely to be control stand-offs with authority figures in school and the possibility of quitting school and starting over again or switching schools is likely. Pluto in the third house is likely to have a controlling style in conversation. Using words as weapons is common with this placement. At best, a conversation style which is slow and careful about choosing words and directing the flow of conversation is found. The chart holder is likely to be skilled at gaining information from others without revealing information about themself. In the best scenario, a third-house Pluto gives depth of concentration in school and in any learning throughout the chart holder's life. An investigative mind that likes to probe into puzzling problems or puzzling people is found with Pluto in the third house.

This is pretty accurate. I feel like My mercury and sun in 8th intensify this too

Pluto Conjunct Scorpio descendant from the 7th house. It's opposite Jupiter and novile Mars-MC.

Very accurate. I always try to show Jupiter on my rising upon first meet but Pluto always wins when the mask drops.

Pluto in the 8th.

Apparently I'm a deviant sex crazed psychic swindler.

Who knows everything without even telling you. So even you know they are lying.

To me, this is quite the compatible one to not fuck with. 😐
I knew you were going to post this.

Because I'm psychic.

i think there IS something about 8th because i get premonitions ALOT.

things that have been happening, and i knew them before they happen.

i dreamt of the spirit world last night, and darkness....and i was holding an adult female next to me as if she were my sister or cousin of someone very close, like a best friend.

and i had to leave her for awhile cause i wanted to go to my mother to see if she's allright.

she just sat there still, like a still born. And i didnt even know her...

but then i heard this morning that a family member had a miscarriage.

i cried for her, and she was crying.

she would have been a girl.

Pluto in the 8th house here (in scorpio and trine to the cancer sun).

I do have difficulties in letting go when something isn't going my way. Not in the small everyday things, but in the big decisions and in the big power struggles (relationships, work, ..). With relationships I had a few hard times when things don't go my way, ie if she doesn't want to move forward or she wants to finish and I don't. I realised actually not long ago that I should let it go. Instead of fighting until I hit a wall and hurt myself badly - which happened before.
