don't know about that last part. Maybe if they're dominant airy types. Hate to sound like a broken record, but my first two ex's i stayed in there even though it's toxic. i mean you live and learn, but i thank god that i got out of it even through the pain and heartache. People would call that stupidity too, from the outside and it probably is, but after learning astrology on a deeper level, I understood and it did make me feel better, that i wasn't alone in this.

Yeah, doesn't mean you have to/should make decisions based upon what your heart wants...
Those who grew up in a toxic environment, those with low self esteem, those that won't leave until they feel they've put enough effort into fixing the relationship, those who have kids with the person. Don't think its sign related as much as it is other factors like the ones mentioned above.

Moon in the twelfth house; this is very accurate. I stayed with my Cancer ex from three years ago much longer than I should have. And he was one of the most abusive and toxic people I've ever known. It also doesn't help to have a Taurus Venus lol at least for me, in this situation. In love, I dig my heels in and stay until it's not a possibility to do so any longer.
So from personal experience, those two placements have kept me lingering in the past.

The insecurity cause this, especially the desperation to feel loved that you didn't received or felt from your parents. Even all the people warned about this person, but you were deluded in love and being naive.
I'm actually awaken and learned a lot of lesson after the last toxic relationship I had.
