Gem moon here and I don't need to talk about feelings at all - I just need to feel them and possibly show them. That could be because gemini is only ranked nr 7 in sign ranking and because I'm earth and water dominant, but still.
I have an air moon too. I see what you mean @ happy. But now I have earth too and man one minute I am open as fuck very versatile , the next I just think so much about a subject that I'll stop talking and wonder about it all.. . It is a constant communication struggle within myself..
I want to be open and upfront 100% really. But certain placements allow me to sit back, just watch, and detached but I am still observing and nearby.. idk

My personal planets is also a mash up of conflicting energies. Mars, Gemini, Scorpio.. fortunately i believe the Libra is starting to pull it all together, balance etc. As a youngin' however, I was a mess. Not into partying or drugs but a mess all on my own. Awkward, emotional unstable, obsessive, hardworking, exhausted, spinning my wheels yet never getting anywhere worthwhile. I hated being young (besides the hottie factor, lol.)

Yes!! A thousand times, yes!! I think the my Libra moon and rising do in fact help balance me out, but it is a process. I have to feel my feelings, understand them and apply what I need to according to the situation -- if I deny myself that process, I feel unstable lol
I absolutely get you on how you felt when you were younger. I was an extremely awkward, emotional and confused person lol I needed outlets to channel all of my different energy. Can be a mind fuck with the mix of elements; here's my mix:

i wouldnt even waste breath on an air moon sign when dating. Im just not going there ever again. You guys are just too damn non existent. Too nonchalant. I just dont feel like air moons take my emotions seriously as a water moon would. Just been my experience. I need to feel the ocean of emotions and your feelers are way different than mine.
You haven't met every air moon, though; I'm in no way "nonexistent" or nonchalant. I'm highly affected by people and care greatly about our bonds. What I feel with my Libra moon is an absolute need to love everyone, to appreciate and understand other perspectives and to be in harmony with others. And when in love, it's intense and long enduring unless the person hurts me. But that's more my Taurus Venus.

water moons operate on a whole other wave length than air moons. Fire moons operate on a totally different level then earth moons. so forth and so forth.

Ok, first allow me to disclaim, this is not a post to bash water or earth signs at all; I love and respect you guys.
My only issue is, I've been coming across a lot of water and earth signs that claim they're way more sensitive than fire and air signs -- now in offended by this because my sun is fire and I have a lot of air in my chart lol; I'm extremely sensitive and compassionate, and I want people to feel embrace and understood by me.
I actually feel that's it's much harder to get a water or earth sign to open up to you and show their sensitive side; they're so guarded. Which again, I'm in no way insulting. I wish I wasn't so open and vulnerable to people. I just think people need to stop saying that fire and air signs aren't as sensitive and sympathetic; we just express it differently.
Ah. i understd you. i have a lot o fire and air in my chart as well. I dont by ny mens think wate or earth signs are compassionate. You ar thinking of a different kind of sensitive. Scorpios cancer and pisces are too self involved emotionally thy become vey detached, selfish, sarcastic, and thy become recluse. They ony squeeze out the smallbit of emotional energy left to focus on anogher, but really....its not much. Earth signs.....They're even worst. especilly wih water in their chart. they cn b extrmely selfish nd think of no one else. they dont have that empath intuitiveity so they can easily fuck someone ove without a hit to give in the world. Earth signs can sometimes be the worst eople....solid friends.....i think not. at least not untilyou annoy them or some stupid shit.
We are all sensitive in the wrong way.
fire and air don hv tht....they are more care free and forgive forget on to the next. it makes them able to showkindness and spread their happiness because why would you want everyonearound you dragging youdown? Aquarius and sagittarius ive noticed seem to be very very into humanitarian type actions.

That is true, you have a valid point. I just find myself getting along with, loving and understanding moons and placements of any type. Perhaps it's the people pleasing Libra moon? Wanting to work with and love everyone I come across? lol I'm just saying that I've been able to understand water placements before -- all my exes were full of water placements, not just their suns. All I've ever dated is water placements; I dated an Aquarius sun recently and my god, I could not deal with how detached he was. He has tremendous energy and compassion for people as a whole, but his focus on an individual relationship and anticipating the other's needs and feelings; nonexistent. So I could see how you've experienced that with an air moon. I just feel like I operate much differently than that. I've been almost over-accommodating in relationships with my water lovers.

Here's the thing, my Libra moon and ascendant allow me to me verbalize how I feel quite well, usually. And I generally HAVE to say how I feel to someone, or I'll become deeply hurt and introverted or just feels nuts because those words are stuck within me -- my communicative inner life has always been substantial. Has Libra written all over it lol
However, I find that my emotions are ALL over the place due to the mixture of elements. I can either feel an urge to tell you every last detail of how much I'm hurting, OR I completely withdraw and have an internal process. During that time, I need a tremendous amount of space. It can certainly be scattered. I feel like I go through a range of emotions every day -- affected by all the surrounds me.

I actually think air Moons are better for earth and fire...

I think that should be the point of placement compatibility sometimes, too! Opposites attract. We can learn from one another! I still have a huge soft spot for that Scorp Sun and Cappy moon friend of mine.

I use to have this desire to express everything in my mind in one shot, where the thoughts are often scattered. So usually the result is that I end up writing long replies. Some of your replies in this thread seems to be quite long. Some people will probably like those kind of replies while others tend to tune out a major part of the reply. So I think that may be one possibility of what happened with your sister when you try to open up to her.
Precisely; I do have a huge tendency to write long replies to convey everything that I'm thinking. I'm sure that it could be an annoyance to some and interesting to others. So that's fine with me, and that probably is what happens with my sister. We actually had a great day together yesterday, surprisingly. You know why? I kept it short and sweet, my Libra chatter-box self was internalized and swallowed whole while in her presence lol

She certainly DOES have emotions, but far more subdued. It's nice.

Really? I must just be an odd one, then. I'm not saying I'm great and all-knowing with every element, not at all lol but I've been able to understand people with water placements before. As I said, all of my exes had more than one water placement.

Thank you for being so descriptive. And I'm sure you and I would still get along great considering the very similar placements that we do in fact share! It's so interesting how even one placement could really affect personalities differently. I'm not surprised I can work with most people's temperaments and emotions now lol I mean I knew it was my nature but seeing the reasons why helps a lot!!
in in life, my one best friend growing up has a libra moon and i didnt even know it. so that was a surprise. (she had alot of water though -- so it helped her airy moon) balance.and my other gf has a libra moon. i was surprised again. lol

Yes, that's definitely my air moon. I need to express my feelings or I'll go crazy lol but then I feel conflicted when I just want to shut people out and retreat from them. I get in self-protect mode when I feel the need to swim in my emotions and hide in a cocoon lol
