Saturn returns

So.. a Saturn return. It happens when Saturn transits and conjuncts your sun sign. I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience with this. Personally, I've seen people experience major operations, divorces, births, marriages,breakdowsn during this transit and to be honest, Im scared. Mine is coming up (Saturn in Capricorn). What can I expect??

Oh, i forgot to mention that Saturn is in Sagittarius, so any Sags want to comment on this? Katy Perry went somewhat off the rails, even though she's Scorpio, i suspect some Sag placements. And we now know that Taylor Swift is reinventing herself as the tough girl. Im just saying, nothing major will definitely happen because some people don't experience anything, but it could.

Saturn return is Saturn conjunct your natal Saturn, not your Sun.

Yeah i think Moon return makes a lot, lot more sense in terms of how people grow up.

Yeah. In my case it meant my first real (and long-term) relationship of almost 3 years with a Cap, came to an end. I had just turned 28. It was from that point on that I was forced to deal with issues that I had tried to hide from myself by focussing on the Cap. I have a Virgo friend who just turned 28 and just became a single mom as her marriage with a Scorpio collapsed last month.

I have natal Saturn in Scorpio in the 1st house, I realized that before my Saturn return for a long time I had denied myself (1st house) of expressing my sexuality (scorpio) to the fullest. The Cap ex had sex issues. After our breakup I then let go (= Scorpio) of myself (1st house) and basically started exploring all facets of sex with a huge number of women, for the next 3 years. I needed to lose myself in order to re-find myself, as cliche as that sounds. Now at 34, I feel I mastered my Saturn return lessons. I feel the best and most stable, confident I have ever been. Also totally happy with my committed relationship, soon getting married.

My only advice for those with Saturn return coming up is therefore, let it happen. Let ALL of the shit that needs to flush out of your life flush out of your life, entirely.

Whatever you still have after the transit is over, is your basis for self-mastery and road to personal success, whatever that means in your case.

If I could give it a review it wouldn't even be one star.

Cannot wait for this year to end.

lol spent the last 5 years between saturn conjunct sun and saturn return.

There has been no saturn conjunct sun for you since 2009/10, that was the last time Saturn was in Virgo. That's 7 years ago 🙂

no, i was wrong. 7 years i meant. in my mind it's 2015 not 2017.

2 years until my Saturn return...kinda curious about it
