Idk if this is how you approach dating/ relationship but do you come across as someone dating with an agenda instead of dating just for the fun of it? Saturn, along with Uranus in the fifth is harsh for relationships and you have sixth R in seventh, you may do more for your SO than what they deserve...
How do I combat the above? Or what types of people do I need to avoid, or be on the lookout for, romantically?

Be a bit reckless when it comes to dating... eg. Don't go for a certain type. With Saturn in Fifth house, there is a possibility to come across as too pedantic/strict when it comes to having fun. Fifth house is all about letting loose and having some kid like attitude towards love and romance. Saturn can be a wet blanket that can hinder you from expressing yourself freely... With Uranus expect change. If you have been using Saturn energy in love matters, try Uranian energy. Be a bit reckless...
And don't do a lot for the guy. Let him do things to you... Asc Ruler moon in the 12th isn't bad, if anything you can play the damsel in distress role and get away with a lot but it opposes Neptune, see things for what they are and having a realistic attitude should be good for you, I think? Overall I would say less control and more realistic attitude
