Sun Square Moon
Posted by MyStarsShineSun square moon is challenging in general, I wonder, and I'd be willing to bet, that it manifests differently among the modalities. For example a leo square scorpio (fixed) will manifest much much differently than pisces square sagg (mutable).
Three women i have dealt with have Leo sun square their moon in Scorpio ~ very tense and uptight. All three of them have reputations for being difficult, so i wonder if this aspect is very challenging?

It's a difficult aspect to deal with. I don't think I'm difficult to deal with as a person...it's moreso the internal conflict that is nonstop.

Opposition should be similar to the square but more intense eh?
well my man and his cousins have scorpio and leo and they are pretty easy going and are happy people.
so maybe it's something else in the charts or their background/upbringing?
but before, in the past, I could see the darkness and gloominess. (thus all the dark gothic, intense doom metal music) but if they're with someone who gives them happiness, the darkness seems to melt away.

I find the square more challenging...this sums it up for me quite well ~
Two planets in 90 degree relationship to each other form a 'square', which means they represent the relationship between innately dissimilar things with little or nothing in common, kinda like 'apples and oranges'.
But when two planets are 180 degrees apart, they form an 'opposition', which means they come from different points of view of essentially common ground, which is also easier to 'reconcile', sorta like appreciating the value of yin and yang, or the opposite polarities of a magnet.

Yep ? stressful combo
Mine is Leo sun Square Scorpio moon. It can be difficult at times, but manageable. Walking on egg shells could be quite true, because its hard to tell what will bring what out of me. Generally I'm a pretty down to earth and passive thanks to a Taurus mars that is also square to sun, and opposite moon that kind of sits in the middle and gives no fucks.

our Leo sun aunty is a Scorpio moon, and she's married long term, happily with a Pisces sun/Pisces stellium actually. and she doesn't have a hard time, that we think of. Although she probably internalizes a lot of her problems and it comes out badly, like when you hold in all your problems, and then it becomes "cancer" the disease. Like, she worries a lot. She worries even after 35 years of marriage that even after getting cancer the disease, that her pisces sun husband doesn't love her. But she knows he does. he loves very very deeply. And she cried in the past, how it's been awful for her to not help him when she got cancer. and it weakened her ability to help/aid him in the farming. IT's so sad and my mother in law was there to support/help them during their dark times. Im glad it's over.

Whether this square occurs in cardinal, fixed or mutable signs is significant. Mutable squares only require an adjustment in thinking or mind-set; they tell you that you need to change your mind about something. Cardinal squares require suitable activity, or for you to alter or stop the way you are doing things. If I wish to express my masculine side, I lose my feminine side and feel exhausted and insecure. If I'm expressing the feminine, I feel incomplete, dissatisfied and out of place in the end.

I've never been able to clearly and comprehensibly describe this aspect... I feel that it's so fully internalized into the subconscious, that it's hard to really "see" it. I hope our aunty isn't like that. She doesn't seem like the type. She is so very jolly and happy, and very generous. She has a good life, and a great husband. I don't think she could have asked for more than that, and a great family that also is close to her.
she's also very religious, so the thought of hating others so deeply is against her religion too, she is a devout chrsitian (bible belt) and was a great daughter to her parents, and good sister to her brothers/sisters. and a great wife, supportive and kind.

I wonder how much truth is that??
the only thing that I think that she might be jealous of, is that her cappy sister and her brothers are well traveled, and she remains in the farm all the time. But it is against their religion to indulge in that. I wonder though. would a person feel the pang of jealousy for their sister/brothers when she stays home all year every year? and going to church ritually? And when the family visits, they talk about their travels and send her postcards everywhere. Does she dream of going off somewhere?

When you hold hate in your heart for someone you are giving them your time and attention. You are elevating their status and gifting them prime real estate in your mind. From a therapeutic standpoint, you also, most likely have unfinished business with them. When an emotional injury or painful situation is not processed properly or honored appropriately, it continues to draw energy from you.
People come in and out of our lives for different purposes and periods of time. Everyone can be a teacher if you are willing to learn. Some lessons are more painful than others but all have the power to add to your evolution. By processing a painful loss or betrayal you are mining that experience for the gold it holds so you can let go of the rest. (And get your brain space back!)
In my therapy practice I have seen clients who have become so identified with their role as the victim, that their entire story becomes about the person they say they ‘hate.’ Please think about your own life, are you doing this with a person or situation? If you are unsure ask your friends…trust me…they will tell you. First, I want to encourage you to forgive yourself for holding onto the negative feeling or allowing yourself to stay victimized long after the situation was over. Secondly, I want to encourage you to release the person, people or situation that has been sucking up your resources. Often the word forgiveness kicks up feelings of resistance. As if forgiving means condoning. I am purposefully using the word release instead so there is no confusion about who is benefitting from your hard work.
I have said it before and I will say it again: Forgiveness is for the FORGIVER.
You deserve to be free, emotionally. You deserve happiness, health and joy. And while no one may be able to experience a state of bliss all the time it is possible to experience it more by releasing negative thoughts about people and past events that keep you stuck. Retraining your mind to focus on what feels good might take a little time, so let’s begin right now with a simple statement that can help you realign your thinking.
Next time a memory of pain or anger comes to mind, simply say, silently or aloud, “I release you” and visualize yourself free. This is called a thought interruption or thought stopper and is used to interrupt habitual negative thought patterns. You may have to do this many times a day, yet the more often you can consciously interrupt your thoughts from spiraling downward into hate, the happier you’ll be. Do this for yourself because what was done is in the past. You have the power to not let the past ruin the present or dictate the future.
