How does your ascending sign affect you? Mine is in Cancer..

It kinda is. Ive always seen it as partly the way you deal with the physical world around you. People see me as gung-ho and full of enthusiasm. I don't close doors, I slam them. I don't unwrap presents neatly at the sticky tape, I rip them open. I don't knock gently on the door, I bang on the door. You get the picture.

I see...mine is cancer so I wonder how that relates...

Cancers are known for being emotional. I do come across as very nurturing and accommodating. I always want to make people feel welcome.

I'm afraid my Ascendant is the same as my sun sign. Taurus. Maybe it just makes me more Taurean. Determined, welcoming, feminine, seeker of the beautiful and the comfortable, materialistic, but basically kind, Venusian to the utter core of my being.

Yeah, I know the feeling I've been on the couch three days from working from 9am until 1am Thursday... writing performance appraisals. At least, I work from home half of the time.

Another Capricorn Ascendant trait - workaholic. Virgo's been good to me... bringing me food, telling me jokes, corny dancing...

I'm just the opposite, sag rising, happy resting face and everyone feels like they can tell me their life story..... not sure which is worse.
