Anyone?
Scorp venus in the 12th here...
Unlucky in love? I guess I can see it with myself. I've been attracted to dudes I can't have - friends, completely unavailable men, etc. I've cheated on my bf, once...I told him the day after...that was a roller coaster time in life for myself/us. We talked it over, and he forgave me...never happened since although it's been a sore spot in our relationship (as it should be)...but yeah.
Also a Sag sun (moon and merc as well) I feel like what I want vs what I need conflicts majorly sometimes. I wanna do what I wanna do but like, I don't wanna be a shitty person... 😄 the struggle!
I'm either attracted to someone way out of my league and who would probably reject me, or whoever I like is taken away from me.
Venus in 12th is the shittiest placement possible.

Yeah, it happens every damn time.
Lol the woman I'm interested in(but only platonic friends with) both our composite and synastry charts have Venus in the 12th...along with four other placements including the Sun in the 12th. What makes it worse is Jupiter is in the 7th...potential for marriage but I don't see that happening anytime soon if in this lifetime. Essentially, I'm attracted to an unavailable woman who is attracted to unavailable men. From what I read about Venus in the 12the is that there's "unfinished business" and I take it as, a karmic relationship.
I have Venus in the 12th house and have studied a lot about this placement.
No, you don't have bad luck in your relationships, actually this placement can lead one to meet a lot of " soul mates " and if well aspected, especially with Neptune can provide a fairy-tale love life.
The 12th house is about dreams, subconscious, another dimensions and for this reason, the person with this placement usually enjoys more to dream about their love life rather than live their real love life. They prefer to keep things platonic (Its just perfect in your mind, right?!) this is why people with this placement normally fall for unavailable partners because subconsciously they want to live a dream, with a perfect partner, in a perfect place with perfect conditions and this won't happen in real life.
People with this placement look for some kind of heaven made love, an utopic, unreal form of love, a romantic fairy-tale so they prefer to set their standards so high that lead to a lonely and solitary life.
People with this placement loves to help people, fall for people who need help, drug addicts, artists or people with mental problems (depression). Loves to be in solittude, feel UNLOVED no matter what, has artistic ability and needs time alone to recharge.
About luck, this placement is said to bring a lot of luck if well-aspected because Pisces (12th house) is the higher octave of Venus. For those who believe, this placement brings a guardian that will always look for you and will make you feel loved by the universe.
Bad if bad aspected or weak...this can lead to a fckd life, as Venus is related to all pleasures not only the love life.

What about synastry or composites? Neither of us has the placement in our natal charts and the only thing that comes close to it is her moon.

Unfortunately I cant help you. I dont know anything about synastry or composite charts.
Im only interested in natal charts and transits.
That is all really amazing... Personally men who are either married , have girlfriends or just want to sleep with me are so attracted to me. It really sucks because just when I think I found a great guy I get disappointed quickly.
So I don't get if my karma in the past life was fucked or what......Never had a boyfriend either.

3of my girl friends have 12th house Venus. One had a very bad break up that lasted for three years. But she has moved on and is getting married. She is happy.
The other two are in relationships. One long term(I think 4 plus yrs) and the one friend has completed a year.
I have looked at a couple who are married for 9yrs- cSun, cMercury, cVenus and cChiron in the 12th house . Asc ruler is Mercury and is in the 12th house.
Angular rulers (4,7,10th houses) were conjunct angles. Angular ruler, Uranus conjunct IC conjunct Mars in the third house.
But as a couple, they spend more time indoors and are very private..... But have been there for each other. One of the most solid marriages I have seen.
12house composite sun relationships work rarely. But when they work, it goes to a different level.

Sadly, I haven't gotten that far to read angular rulers. But it probably speaks to both of us...we need to stop going after long shots lol.
Any advice on reading the angles? I've read in a few places that there are a several marriage indicators outside if the basic placement like MC, IC, Vesta, Chiron, and how the aspect each others charts.

The 12th house is also a house without boundaries, so you love all encompassingly. This can make others squirm and leaves you alone and unfulfilled a lot of the time. But it's great for your passions because you want to become one with whatever you love. Good placement for religious people or people with a vocation in that direction.
How does one know if it's aspected positive?

I read that having Venus in 12 natal is bad luck for love. That women attractive unavailable men.....It is so true for me ...Married men love me and players....I have been celibate for a long time too.Is there hope?!
Get to know them better... It takes time...
Yes Venus can make you very spacy in theses ways with love... seeing the dream but not reality and then wanting reality that was not your dream.
It also makes you clairvoyant, artistic, and very imaginative. I know it may seem weird but there are people that are just not going to be with someone... I can say I have Venus in Pisces and it can be alot the same.

Your experience?
Posted by LovingSeraphinaDarling Venus is never ever bad luck.
Why does Venus in 12 get a bad rap?
I haven't had any bad luck. Dated guys who all cared for me a lot, never had an unrequited or complicated situations. The only thing unlucky is that it seems I'm doomed to be the breadwinner even though my job doesn't pay all that well. Overall, dating has led to good experiences.

I've had good and bad experiences in love.
I've had to learn how to slow down when it comes to feelings.
I am a 28-year-old male with a 12th house Gemini Venus (in a Gemini 12th house). I had EXCELLENT luck during high school. Lots of pretty girls liked me and I dated a beautiful girl for three years. After high school, I somehow ended up with one of my crushes--a Gemini, of course--who was way, way, way too hot for me. She was a 10/10 and it made no sense; until I later looked at her birth chart and noticed her 21 Cancer Mars, exactly conjunct my 21 Cancer Sun. (In my experience, the Mars sign in a woman's chart depicts the type of man she's most attracted to on a subconscious level).
But... my luck has been awful since college. I am currently in love with a married woman, and I haven't had an actual relationship in six years. Seriously... I never connect with anyone. No one is smart enough for me (Gemini Venus) and everyone bores me (Gemini Venus).
Anyone else?

Every single guy I know that has a venus in 12th has bad luck in love.. most of the time someone they love is taken away from them .. it's sad
12th house = house of abyss.
So what does that mean for us Venus 12 people? Bad karma from the past?

Truth. I tried to save a meth addict. Never again.

12th house will lower the quality/power of the respective planets.
I have sun and moon there, both of them are my least dominant planet. Rank 9th and 10th
