This whole thing is shady. You know what he'll do to you. The same thing the two of you were gonna let happen to someone else.
No, the person we would pay is aware that we can leave at anytime. That’s why we pay him so much lol. He does this for a living, and when we tell him we want to leave he finds someone else. He has tons of clients.

You're naive and living with your mind in the clouds. Your intuition is speaking but you're not listening. If you end up being foolish enough to sign that lease, you BETTER GET A CONTRACT/PROMISSORY note BEFORE, from your man that states WHAT he'll be responsible for PAYING in that rental. DO NOT sign anything before this is done. Why? Because it's a setup. Why? Because your man knows the length you're willing to go FOR HIM. Why? Because it removes him from accountability and responsibility.
