Astrologically speaking, instead of determining by sun sign, I would definitely want to hear advice from someone with a well aspected Mercury. No matter how well you think or how easy good decision making comes to a person, it's the ability to express those wise thoughts that matters when giving/receiving advice.

Scorpio men surprisingly always set me straight and have good advice.

Aquarius women can give you some good straight up advice with no sugar coating, some Geminis will give you the same.

Virgos/Taurus/Libras/Aries/Leo never make me feel comfortable enough to seek advice from, they are usually wrapped up in their own shit. Sag is too detached. Capricorn could be good, but they tend to think they are right 100% of the time.

Who am I missing...Pisces. I'm not sure about that one, but they are nice and sensitive so that could be a good option, same with Cancer.

Surprisingly, a while back I got really good advice from an Aries. She wasnt judgemental of my situation AT ALL and had really good solutions to the problems I was dealing with at the time. I was so shocked by that.

I like getting advice from my Virgo sister. I respect her pov and she brings me back to earth. I can go way too far into my thoughts and she lets me know its not that serious lol.

Air signs perceive things from above and sees things as a whole and can miss details.....their advice can be unemotional and logical because they aren't experiencing your dilemma but see it and where the light at the end of the tunnel leads.

Earth signs are on the ground and can see things as they are and straight up give you advice without turning it into a drama, I do appreciate Virgo advice because they tell you shit straight up and are a good mix of logic and compassion.

Water signs are underwater, everything they see is blurry and distorted so they have developed good sonar and can breathe out their blow holes.

Fire signs illuminate and enlighten situations and can make you braver to face them.
