This theory suggests that the planet with the most aspects in your chart influences your personality and can cause you to be mistaken for the sign it rules. For example, a highly aspected Mars or Moon might make you resemble Aries, Scorpio, or Cancer. It highlights how planetary influences shape your astrological identity beyond your sun sign.
1. Moon
Do I come off as cancer? Nooo! At least I don't think I do. But you tell me.
2. Pluto
Do I come off as a scorpio? I have been mistaken for one. But Idk. It's difficult to see yourself from the outside. You tell me.
3. Jupiter
Do I come off as a sag? Not that I've heard. Maybe when my venus makes itself known? So, maybe at times. But Idk. You tell me.
Do I see you as either of these signs? Nah, not really. Possibly aries in some instances, but you're definitely earthy in my eyes. Cap or Taurus...not virgo so much, though. Imo.

Basically, it goes like this.Your most aspected planet (Postive or negative. major or minor aspects) in your chart can have you being confused as one the signs the planet involved rules.
Example: So since I have a stupidly highly aspected Mars and Moon, according to this theory, I should be able to be mistaken and quite pass as a Aries, Scorpio or Cancer.
Where do these theories even come from? Guys, I can't pass as those signs, right?
What about you? What is your most aspected planet? Have you been mistaken for the sign(s) it rules over?
Ruling List:
Sun = Leo || Moon= Cancer
Mercury= Gemini/Virgo || Venus = Taurus/Libra
Mars = Aries/Scorpio || Jupiter = Sagittarius/Pisces
Saturn= Capricorn/Aquarius || Uranus= Aquarius
Neptune= Pisces || Pluto= Scorpio
So if Saturn is the planet in your chart that has the most aspects, you should be mistaken for Cap or Aqua according to this theory.
I think you do come off mostly like a Ram. You initiate like Aries does. You get action going.
This could work for me because I'm a scorpio moon and my moon is the most aspected. I'm also a cancer rising which i read makes the moon stronger. So it's possible. Although i feel like a capricorn more than a scorpio unless im in love.
Supposedly I have a lot of strong Gemini and Libra...most people think I'm a Sag so I dunno what what's the question again? ๐

1. SaturnPeople have trouble believing that I'm a cap ๐ข
2. Mars
Aries? No one has ever mistaken me for one ๐
3. Mercury
I am ALWAYS mistaken for a Gemini IRL
I believe you're a Cap!

I would never confuse you for an Aries or Cancer, SirHorns. Scorpio sounds more plausible
My most aspected are Pluto, Saturn, Moon and Mercury in that order... I've been mistaken for a Scorpio
Edit: Ops, Mercury has one aspect more than the Moon *switches places*
Mercury the most aspected.
Moon in Libra.
Most negative aspects and the most aspects.
Not sure what to make of it but I have stories. Ha.
So Libra rules Venus? And 7rh house? No?
Help @sirhorns ?
For what it's worth, I'm Libra Dom. Moon Libra moon 3rd.
But my 7th house is empty.
Cap rules it. ... may explain why I live like a bachelorette ha
Moon is most aspected planet if I remember correctly ..soo...
Cancer?
.. I do have so much water..so it's difficult to say especially with Cancer rising... ๐

Yes! This is common knowledge, when describing a sign, most sites usually mention that said traits also apply to "x house and x planet if strongly aspected in the chart.

But that's not the same as your dominant planets, right? Because my dominant planets are 1. Pluto 2. Sun. But when I counted my aspects, Pluto indeed is most aspected (10 aspects), Saturn (9 aspects), Mercury (9 aspects). The Sun has 7. I don't get it...

Planetary dominants
A planet becomes dominant when it meets one of the following conditions:
It is posited near an angle of the natal chart (one of the angular houses, the most important ones, as we have explained in our article on houses).
It is posited in a sign of its rulership (in the case of a fast-moving planet).
It rules the Ascendant or the Sun.
It is the only planet tenanting a hemisphere (please check our article on planets' distribution).
It forms numerous aspects with other important points of the natal charts.
In general, natal charts have two or three planetary dominants, and sometimes, sub-dominants. For instance, the astrologer would talk about a Mars-Jupiter dominant with a Saturn background when Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are prominent, but Saturn is less powerfully highlighted than the former two planets.

No, just the one that has the most planets in aspect to it.
SO just count how many lines connect to A PLANET OR if you have a grid, count how many symbols fall under the planets symbol on the grid.

Ram, Crab and whatever Aqua is (human carrying water) + Cap.
...I'm not even sure if I would even try to eat me anymore. That's a mess. ๐

Hmm, I always read that as a "lazy" answer. Since 5 planets in Leo =/= 5 aspects to your Sun =/= 5 planets in your 5th house.

So Scorp, Gem or Virgo.
Been mistaken for any of the above? (You ARE a Virgo, though, right?)

Here in the UK no one gives a shit about astrology heck hardly anyone knows what their sign is. Besides geminis. So I don't know which sign I come across to people ๐
Here on DXP I've had mixed answers like Leo, cap, sag, Gemini, aqua, Aries and Pisces. Despite being a Virgo myself I don't come across as one to most people. (On here, UK doesn't care)

Followed by...Moon/Mercury/Mars/Saturn/Neptune/Pluto - who all loose out by 1 aspect...
Never released they were all so close...
Um, idk- Never been told i acted like any sign.
But i'd be cool with being seen as a Libra or a Taurus! ๐
