We are basically the outcasts of Indiana. We all have the Chicagoan accent along with rooting for the Bears, Blackhawks and White Sox. We are also the only area that is still in Central time. Odd isn't it?
Whenever I put in my data into astrotheme or cafe astrology they always get my data wrong, because they assume since it's Indiana it is eastern time, but it's not! Astro.com is the only accurate one I've used so far. I have to put Chicago, IL if I wanna use any other site.

I get that, yeah I lived in Las Vegas for like 9 months and was starting to get used to it a little. The winter was nice there though.

Plus I live my life with common sense and make sure to be safe when traveling/doing things. Yeah it was very frustrating! They'd always show me with a Cancer MC and totally different house placements. I was like "AM I A LEO OR CANCER MC OMG WHY ARE THEY ALL DIFFERENT". Then when I put Chicago, voila, it showed Leo MC. So then I figured "ooo they don't know about the timezone differences". It makes sense because it is literally just the corner of Northwest Indiana that is in Central time. It's safer to just assume it's eastern for them than to get into the specifics I guess

You're right on mine...that's Portland Oregon and Mt Hood in the distance. It's about an hour drive from where I am (suburbs west of Portland).
I've been out west but never to northwest... it's lovely, isn't it?

That sounds so fun, I've lived in Southern California pretty much all of my life with the exception of Las Vegas for a short time. I would love to visit New Hampshire and try all those activities. I hear it's really pretty there too, with the season changes.
