How do is effect you if at all? Or is it just about how you appear to others?? My sun sign and rising sign are the same so I feel kind of ripped off haha
I'm asking because a friend of mine is cancer sun Virgo rising and I've known this guy for a while but I went to his house for the first time a couple months ago and it is fucking disgusting I love him but I even told him dude wtf is up , he is getting it foreclosed on so I understand he's depressed I mean he's a cancer sun and cancer moon his home is his life, but I mean disgusting garbage everywhere . And I'm thinking he is Virgo rising like does this bother him? Is it just the depression or does your rising even effect you?

I'd say take a look at his mercury (organization/communication and also it's his 1st house lord) and mars (drive).

I have ascendant, mars and mercury in pisces, and here's what people say to me all the time:

* that I look sad/sleepy (usually when I'm daydreaming);
* that I talk too slow and seem to have a different accent;
* that my facial expression is really inexpressive.

Does this connect with those placements? Idk. I think they do.

Curious - that's what I'm saying he's loosing what means most to him , the depression is creating self sabatoge also knowing it's going to Be someone else's home soon

I have a cancer rising and everyone always attracts to my eyes first...but when I look straight in some people's eyes, they look away or look scared when I do. Sometimes I feel like some people are trying to hide themselves. I usually have a gut feelings when I do stare deeply. I usually am very shy and don't look at anyone into their eyes but as of lately I have no problem with it. I just noticed it a lot more...I'm turning 30 next year and heard that's when you ascendant is at its prime. Maybe my cancerian traits are settling in on my looks and how I interact with people. Cancers can either be introverted or the total opposite extroverted to hide the "softy" inside. From what I went through the past relationships. I choose to hide it now than to be vulnerable. i just refuse to believe the op's friend is a virgo rising. as a virgo rising myself, i cannot stand filth. if i just see one little piece of paper on my floor, you best believe that little piece of paper gone get picked up. and not just walk pass it as if i don't see it. as virgo rising, you are detailed oriented. doesn't matter what signs you have in other planets.

This is so interesting to me as my dad and brother are both Virgos and they are the messiest people I know. I'm the perfectionist neat freak in the family, while I'm very Pisces-influenced, and apart from Midheaven and NN I have nothing in Virgo. Nothing in the 6th house either..

I think i know why signs are being labeled too emotional or annoying, I wont get into it, I wont get into it but dont you think a world we lice in would make sense to just be simply to be either, unique, creative, a personality, bright and likable, fun, passionate. Noone talks about that kind of stuff. And I understand why yall do but I have what might be a great solution to that. Basically I just hate seeing people label pisces as too emotional or sag as cheaters because I know what they should only bring to us, andnever take. Like Pisces is creativity, sag is sense of humor, aqua is entertainment, uniqueness. Noone talks about that stuff and they should instead of bashing them.

And they say how aqua looks like they are distant, faraway and scorp looks evil. Like first off planet signs and planet to planet aspects shouldnt show your appearance at all. That's why they come off different than houses. Then you think, aqua is about amusement, uniqueness, friends, wouldnt you think aqau and uranus would look like that in houses. And scorp would look like passion dontchyu think? This just again lets me know we are messed up right now where we arent looking like we are and acting like we are supposed to.

i agree with all this. but you have idiots in this world that don't deserve to be likeable. that's why me as an example bashes aries quite a lot because i've experience first hand what their like. it's hard for me to be a likeable person, i admit that. i been bullied, picked on, teased, laughed at i mean you name it. this is why i am the way i am and im not gonna change. i have to keep my guard up at all times because i can never be sure what's in store out there for me. i can't leave my house without getting the feeling someone is creeping up behind me wanting to ambush me from behind. that's why i looks over my shoulder while walking even tho i'm in a quiet country side. now this is not to say im trying to be a smartass, but how would you feel having to live life everyday having to keep your guards up?

They are not idiots, noone is. To me this world isnt a good vs bad thing, we are just here to use astrology to express what we want to express, creativity, uniqueness, personality. Im sure if someone acts in a way that doesnt seem normal they are affected by something and its not their fault. And also I dont believe in religion because its true I dont have enough facts to prove it. And it shuns astrology which is very odd.

I agree we should all focus on the positive. But theres also what i see is we should already be doing that. Like for example people are more free to express themselves online than in person which got me thinking, Is it something people are affecting us with that we dont know? Everything in astrology is HIGHLY favorable
Aquarius is friends, amusement, entertainment, being different. Aqua rising would make your appearance and face look different, amusing, unique, like a good friend. People would probly say thats my homie or something like that to you cause you give off that vibe in your personality.
It shouldnt make you look distant or anything other than aquarius traits.
