My cancer man experience

I am an airy Taurus and I was in a year and some months relationship with an earthy cancer. He was perfect with all his flawed and all. He cherished the ground I walked on. He was very thoughtful and caring. He was the life of the party and we had a connection out of this world. Unfortunately our time ended due to his insecurities and inability to let go of past hurts. ( he broke it off with me)

Here are somethings I wish I could change... 1.) being completely open. I usually live in my head and didn't completely communicate with him when I had too many problems. I thought I could solve it all by myself without stressing him. 2.) be a bit more assertive instead of compromising everything that I disagreed on.

Some advice I would give out... this is not a set rule but just from my experience: don't hold back on expressing your concerns... yes they are sensitive but they will also take advantage of this nature if u let them. Put them in their place on the first try of them getting out of order. They are big cuddling babies so spoil them a little and show a lot of affection. Try your best to soothe their worries and play into some of their scenarios but flip it around so they can realize how crazy and far out their thoughts have gone. They have a huge and vivid imagination that never shuts off -_-. So never never flirt, make them jealous or be disrespectful towards them... if you do then u will be suck in an super drawn out nightmare. I know this was a random post but thought I would share.
