I'm sick so my Pisces came over on his lunch to play Dr. I'm all weak and helpless so he decided to stay and refill my prescription... all afternoon then snuck out the back with a sandwich before the kids got home from school.

He completely took advantage of the situation. I'm not rested at all but god do I feel better

its been a long time since i have spent valentines day with a significant other. im kind of excited to be kind of celebrating it this year just for that reason. i say 'kind of' because technically we wont be celebrating it day of because of scheduling conflicts, but will still be celebrated either the day before or the following day.

im trying to figure out what i should get mr crabs. ive picked up on a lot of things that i know he wants/ needs...but they arent very romantic. like a mattress topper for his bed, or a hand blender. i know he said he wanted a tablet.

i have to be frugal at the moment because im a full time student at the moment, but i want to get him something that he could really use and im having trouble choosing.

would a crab man choose comfort over technology? or vice versa? what do you think?

I keep reading about how people born on July 9th are crazy murdering psychos. It creeps me out. I used to love my birthday because it was summer and around New Orleans Running Of The Bulls. Not anymore. I need to know where I can put in a request to change my birthday please. I wouldn't mind Mardi Gras day or Easter would be nice. I don't have the energy to go off and kill a jerk off. We need to rescue Tom Hanks too. I couldn't bare if it I read about him fleeing in a White Bronco away from the popo after killing somebody on set.

There's so much good and bad in everyone and astrology reduces human beings to 12 things 12-24 things, and then convinces you that its both archaic, formulaic yet all results are relative and abstract. It is insane. I feel sick every time I think of it seriously. I've met so many good and bad men and women from every single sun sign who are fit for anything they choose.. so whats the point? whats with the obsession ?

It's more than that. If you times 12 by the number of planets and also the houses and then the decans, etc, there's actually all sorts of complicated facets that can be had in determining a person's personality. And that doesn't even take into account how one is raised, the choices they makes, etc. Astrology can't make anyone good or bad. It's just a tool for understanding self and others. Think of it as an ancient form of some of the modern personality tests, like Meyers Brigs and Jung typology.

I think what cancers need is spiritually and mindfulness. If we can achieve a sense of inner peace, we'd be more powerful. We seek from the outside world way too much.

We hunger for life and love and that threatens our mere existence...too extreme.

CC, I completely agree! We forget to learn how to be self confident and then we stand in place and jib (this is a horse person expression of dancing in place and not going anywhwere, a form of nervous energy with no outlet).

Thank you! And I so agree. In the end that's what everyone is craving: to be loved and understood on the most fundamental level. That's what a soulmate is supposed to be, that one person who gets you and vice versa. Amazing how we all get so tangled up and confused and upset and hurt and sad and angry and hateful and love deprived with ourselves and others when we're really on the same journey.

Still trying to ignore this tugging at my heart....

good to know I'm not alone. I try to read from different sites, compare and observe, not just my sign but also others with whom I interact. Sometimes changing what has been written. Chinese Astrology = Primal Astrology. Any other July 6 here?

I meant Western + Chinese Astrology = Primal Astrology.

Drink lots of water CC, don't over wash your face, don't prick or touch pimples, take enough sleep and stop thinking about your ex.Used to have them on my cheeks. Worrying + stress makes it worse. Wheatgrass mixed with water worked for me.

Players on the Cancer board should stop.

This needs bumping and a little something else.

I love cheese and corn! Grilled cheese, mac n cheese, cheese n crackers, cheese pizza. Corn on the cob with butter, corn on the cob with chipotle mayo, corn fritters, corn bread....

Yep, I'm planting a ton of heirloom tomatoes, some peppers (sweet and spicy), hopefully some lettuce and carrots, peas, beans, cucumbers, squash. I have another spot that will be an herb garden. I'm a huge plant nerd and I love to garden.

Do you garden, Blisss? It's totally therapeutic. I'm a bit of a nature nerd, though, so it ties into that theme.

Yes, but I'm a newbie. I planted some flowers/plants again recently. I purchased some new soil so I'm hoping the new plants will bloom unlike the time I had used natural dirt mixed with old soil. My plants grew for a little while but then died. I have a hibiscus plant that started to bloom again. 🙂

I love hibiscus! The leaves are nice and salty tasting. Yes, I used to eat them when I was a kid. Go figure! lol

The trick is to know what your plants like because they all like something different. Some like shade, some like sun, some like sandy soil or clay or more water or less water. Soil Ph is another factor.
