is it strange that i know somebody who has been close friends with somebody for 10 years + and that I knew several things about their character that they hadn't yet seen, even before I met them?

He felt the same way, and tried to call her on the phone.
Instead of answering the call, she sat there crying about it and he stopped calling her.
