What does it mean when they say never try to be the "boss" in a relationship? Does this mean he(Cancer Male)likes to be the dominant?

no we don't like to be dominant although we do like to be in control. we like things done equally and what might be meant by "boss" is that we do not like to be bossed around or told what to do. but if you must do it as gently as you can..lol.

it means don't tell him what to do. my cancer's favorite quote to everyone:

when u want them to do something u have to be clever so that they think it was their idea.

It means U have 2 share the equality in the relationship. No Cancers don't like being dominant. But, U should have control of U, and let him have control of HIM. Then when it comes 2 certain things. Share. Like if U want help, instead of putting all the responsibility on him, ASK him would he help U. That is sharing the responsibility of being the boss.

yup. Dont tell me what to do. ask me. Cancers are Cardinal and therefore we are Leaders. Dznt mean we cant follow either. we are not dominant leaders- we get more people to follow our lead just by doing than by directing. we arent afraid to get our hands dirty and we appreciate those that get theirs dirty by our side.
