while cap hell was breaking loose on the boards... i was just talking to my lil sis on the phone about "Saturn return" and what it actually means. i realized i'd never looked up the phrase so i wiki-ed it...

"In astrology, especially horoscopic astrology the Saturn return is an astrological transit when a transiting Saturn planet returns to the same point in the sky that it occupied at the moment of a person's birth (natal chart).

In Hindu astrology, when Saturn is within one house prior to till one house after the house the moon is posited in, it is known as Saade saati, as the transit in a birth chart and takes approximately 7.5 years to complete. These years are often filled by difficulty.

Saturn Return is an alleged phenomenon which is described as influencing a person's life development at 27 to 29 or 30-year intervals. These intervals or "returns" coincide with the approximate time it takes the planet Saturn to make one orbit around the sun, i.e. 29.4 years. then 10 minutes later we were talking about astro and saturn return. i've obviously heard the phrase here, but i never knew exactly what the hell it meant! so i looked it up and it essentially summed up into half a sentence what i told her i was going through. nutso

Saturn Return. I went through that. That was a life changing time. Hmm, so that's what you meant about splitting into two. I can see that.

kinda makes no sense it seems, but somehow it's how i feel... like i'm at that brink where i'm leaving an old me behind and the part of me i'm taking with is breaking away ...so... splitting into two. *shrugs*

Like cell birth. Cool. I got interested in new life imagery at the time. No, it wasn't pleasant. But I feel more comfortable now. Definitely worth the process. Didn't know about Saturn's return.

yea. cell birth is a neat way of looking at it.

That and the sneery smile you behold for others at inappropraitely timed tunes.

I have beheld the times when all has gone and now that it is all over I can now look up and see that I am free. Thank god for those days.

uMMMm I kinda respect that atleast CC is not a backstabber, she says what she doesnt like about you (generalizations or not) to your face, the people I cant stand are the ones that smile at you, but hate you and talk about you behind your back. Its only a forum, but I think honesty, wether brutal or tactful is always the best approach.

zactly. i trust people with brutal honesty that much more.

everyone has their opinion and is entitled to it. and there's always always going to be conflict around here. there's always going to be misunderstanding or miscommunications and everyone will handle it in their own way... i'm not saying cc is always right, but i dont think I've EVER seen her post something negative about an individual out of the blue or unprovoked. Not saying it doesnt happen... I've just never seen it.

I disagree. I think she's extremely negative and deliberately provokes people for constant attention to be brought back onto herself. It's draining, tiring to be around, and I find it unattractive. Also, I wonder if this negative attention seeking is conscious or unconscious?
