Btw, do you guys consider being exclusive lovers with someone as FWB??

Had a FWB thing going on with an Aqua, it started out great until I began to become possessive because I started to like him...that's when I didn't like the ideal that he was messing with other people. That was a bust, but the major bust was that he was in love with his ex and ditch the carni hangout to go hangout with her. His actions and words were shifty, one moment I feel he was into me, next moment he's distant and being dishonest. The dishonest ruined it which ended our FWB but mostly our friendship because I did cherish him as a friend although I like him. I think he did cherish me as a friend because he did put trust in me to tell me personal stuff ...but although there's still wasn't closure...I kinda miss him.

I was in a FWB situation with a Cappy, we never spoke about our situation being anything otherwise and it felt that way to me. We didnt hang out much or do much else relationship like together. I left him and got engaged. He declared I was evil and cruel and he loved me with all his heart. Clearly didn't realise the importance of communication. He's weird though. I think he secretly likes to be treated like shit. Long story short my engagement didnt last as the guy had changed completely. Cappy came back around. When im good with him hes an ass. When im rude and a total bitch hes in his place. ODD! I could never be in a serious relationship with a guy like this is just utter chaos-I think subconsciously I knew this from the beginning not to get too close,

For me to do FWB, I have to really detach. It would have to be with someone I'd never, ever want to take seriously.

In my situation, it happened because the timing wasn't right when we met. It's been 2.5 years and a lot of up and downs, but we are exclusive and have been since the start.

It's made out for some people. And others no so much.

I have a friends with benefits and it's been 7 years. Within the first 3 years I have had multiple opportunities to have a real relationship with him but I really enjoyed the way it was. Sometime when you do have a real relationship it gets boring and you will wish you have the excitement from before.
