Obviously, astrology is a hobby, but I don't have many people to talk about it with.

I bought an older home about two years ago. I've really gotten into home improvement and yard work. I'm still learning and find it fasinating. I have so much to learn!!!

I also have gotten into my boyfriend's hobby - 4 wheelers and ATVs and going out to the mud parks. This is sooooo fun! I didn't think I'd ever like getting muddy and dirty, but I love it!!!

I used to like to cook, but I don't really have many people to cook for anymore. My son is busy with his activities and is hardly ever home and my boyfriend is gone a lot with his job, so I've gotten out of the habit.

I also used to read, but I don't take time for that anymore.

I e tried many things in attempts to find my passion. What has stuck is photography specially night shooting. Hiking n what I recently found is canyoneering!!!!!!
Basically combination of earth n water. Hiking to canyons n rappelling down from waterfalls.

Photography is cool!!! I took a few photojournalism classes in college and absolutely loved it!! Expensive hobby, though.

still love doing jewelry, painting and playing piano. even though i'm fresh out of a piano... it'll always be my #1 fave pastime. there's nothing more therapeutic and peaceful than a romantic tune by rachmaninoff played live on a real piano (electrics are sacrilege) by yourself so you can put the crescendo and decrescendo wherever your mood sees fit.

as for jewelry... i've been getting really excited about resin these days. a million and one things you can create with resin. soon enough i'm going to try layering resin with oil painting.

photography, besides astrology on the side, i like taking photos of nature.

but i'm amateur at best but i still like it. I only use my Phone and a small camera though.

also, love biking and hiking in the summer. It's just too cold even now.

my mother in law tries to get me to bike and we've been trying it until the weather just starting freezing again. we even had hail, and just overall very cold now. we'll have to wait till may. April has alot of showers literally.

I like gardening, although Im not good at it lol. I still try every year.

I rotate between sewing, knitting, and crotcheting. Its all so relaxing.

I got into making jewelry a few years ago.

I also want to start prospecting...like going places and panning for gold or digging for crystals. I use to be fascinated with gems and minerals when I was a kid. I wanted that to be my career...well between that and medical research. I plan on going to one of the gold mines here in GA before the year is up.

I tend to like crafts in general. The latest "thing" of mine was melted crayon art. I find something interesting, do it til Im tired of it, and go to something else or rotate.

+1. +1 to a lot of what you said, but this mostly. some crafts i keep in the rotation, others i've taken my fill. keeps things fresh, imo! your melted crayon art reminded me of another craft idea i read online about up-cycling and repurposing. someone made small tealights with bottle caps and crayon butts.

and try pouring resin! surf the net for ideas and watch a few youtube vids cuz for as simple as it seems, there are a lot of technical tips. it's like the baking of the craft world. they mean what they say in the mixing and curing directions.

Being a capricorn I have to mention rock climbing. I haven't done it a lot and if this hadn't been a capricorn board, I would probably not have mentioned it at all, but there it is.🙂

Music, writing(no, I normally don't write as badly as I do in forums. Please, don't judge me.🙂)friends, training, travelling, learning new things, diving, reading...and the list goes on.

I would especially recommend diving to those who hasn't tried it.

@Creepypants, I love the whole idea of upcycling and repurposing. I was on pinterest like crazy looking at different creative things you can do.

One if the things I fell in love with, and dont laugh, was the idea of using pennies as a backsplash and on your floors, or furniture. When I buy a house Im definitely going to do that, and I know everyone that walks in will look at me like Im crazy lol, but idc.

Astrology.

Reading, currently my tastes have been all over the place. Just finished my binge on writing tip books. Waiting on one astrology book to be returned so I can check it out, so as of now I might try reading a tactics or war based book.

Gaming, ehhh getting bored so it might be out of the rotation of a bit till I get something new.

I moved recently, so now I need to explore! Hoping to find something to give me a couple of new interests to check out.

"Mountain" hikes is sort of a family hobby we enjoy. We have several places in Denmark named Mount something or something Mountain.😄 There's even a site that gives directions to where to climb mountains in Denmark.😄

Balderdash. There are no mountains in Denmark 😉

Exactly! My life is so real, that I like to embrace the imaginative in my hobby time.😉😄

not laughing at all. i was looking at this just yesterday... using pennies and resin for countertops. it looks really sharp!

copper always gives a nice vintage look.
