As a Capricorn female who dated and ended a relationship with a Capricorn male... I think your message to him was a good move. I would have appreciated your acknowledgement and break down of how things happened on your end. Capricorn men take a lot of time they don't get pinned down too easy even once they are interested. They have to make sure you're worth their time. They have to feel like it's their move to become involved and feel safe so the message you sent was a nice appreciation of the time you shared but not a begging/desperate attempt to get him back which he may have been expecting. I'm sure he'll have a response once he's had some time and space. You're smart to play it cool no matter what happens. We can be very forgiving if we feel we have been understood and apologized to maturely. Emotional and public displays are a huge turn off and can make us uncomfortable. We do have a "last straw" and there's no bringing us back once our mind has been made up. I have cut off several exes with no interest at point of break up. I don't hold grudges for long but once I lose interest it's over. People think we are cold but we are actually very sensitive and try to preserve our emotions at all cost as it isn't very becoming on us. We give the classic cold shoulder when we feel slighted and but are actually somewhat miserable all the while if we actually care. He said he likes me and my company and we could have stay together for a few more months but deep down he knows it's not forever as he hasn't developed the deep feelings he knows he is capable of. He apologized for things not working out and he is glad he gotten to build those beautiful moments with me.

I know that while we were together he often say he feels like he is not good enough and he was very conscious of his appearance and tried to bulk up for me even I never asked him to.
He also said we are at different stage of our life where I'm still exploring my emotions, feelings and connections with other ppl and how I react to the world around me.
He also said I'm a attractive beautiful young woman full of energy, drive, passion and integrity. He will cherish the memory of our time together.
Regarding the energy part Im like an energizer bunny and he is really low on energy. He did make many jokes to tell me that he is old and can't keep up with me. He even joked about may be I need a younger guy. I reauuresn him I only like him.
Anyway I responded to his email to thank him for his honesty and asked him to stop apologizing. He already restored my faith in men, positive changes win a gift to take to he future. Just a hunch I'm thinking he is insecure, or feels you are out of his control so to speak....also your youthfulness will unsettle him. Caps like security and dont want their girl having eyes on them. I get that also, being a Scorpio! Nothing more sexy than your partner being a woman/man in the street and a freak in the bedroom!!! The best advice I can give is when someone shows you who they are, believe them.
And please stop blaming yourself. That's driving me nuts. If you fucked his friend or crashed his car, then you can apologize. Otherwise, save your apologies. You did nothing wrong. He is a big boy.
