Interesting question here and I see no answers. As an aquarius I love solving dilemnas . So for the aquarian two cents worth of case study... I can completely see the scorpio's emotional blackmail (and I love scorpios to death as some of the most important people in my life are the overly critical scorpio) but I know when a scorpio wants something the scorpio will use everything they have to achieve it, including emotional blackmail. The scorpio will not care what he or she says or does if he/she has a point and the extreme can be way to much.

Whereas my Cap finds jealousy and tricks as major turnoffs. The cap in my life would very likely hate being pushed around. (He has no idea how lucky he is that he can keep an aquarius around, and as long as he comes back to me and stays true then he can have his time to do what he needs to do.)

But I'm sure with the right mix of people's attitudes then sure why can't Scorpios and Capricorns get along? (I wouldn't be who I am today without scorpio's tough opinions pushing me forward, and my need to be appreciated.) Scorpios are wonderful people in general and so are capricorns. Water and earth created the Grand Canyon. Air and earth simply co-exist. but I definately have some capricorn traits in me so communication and honesty are the keys.
