Love hurts?

A well-known russian writer - Dostoievski-who was a Scorpio-said that the greatest love is the one that hurts the most.
Do you think the same or that love is supposed to make you feel good about yourself and the world?

I dont think it is suppose to hurt but sometimes it does when you love someone so much, and for whatever reason you cant be with them. It would be wonderful if we could all experience and express the love we feel and share it with the object of our affection, but cant always be for reason I dont know? So sometimes it is internalize and
I have found other ways to express what I feel. My faith is one way.

I tend to agree with Dostoevski...someone who has such power over you to make you love them so much, weilds an equal amount of power to bring you pain.

I couldn't agree more. The pain is excrutiating! I will always have a special place in my heart for them, but will have a scar on it.

My ex wants to still be my best friend, and I just can't do it - nor do I really know if I ever could. I just move on - and we communicate via email - from time to time. It does sometimes becomes a blockage for me. Strange isn't it?

Oh yeah. Me and the Scoripo guy broke it off last night in a brutal 1 hour tongue lashing of each other. He doesn't trust me and I don't trust him. It's horrible. I was crying and he was ok and acted as if nothing mattered. That our seperation was no big deal. It hurt a lot.

It truly is really good or really bad. Sucks.

Um, I think it does, sadly.

Well he called me 4 hours later to invite me to have breakfast at his house. It was ok. He knew he screwed up and was kissing my arse. I ate it up and showed no sign of forgiveness except that of coming over. Ah what a wicked tangled web.

I think love is different depending on who you're with. Is the fiery, passionate love any less important or credible than the comfortable, dependable love? Marrying the two into one relationship is what I think is so difficult. I truly believe that we are drawn to the people we are drawn to for a reason. Either they need to teach us something, or we need to teach them something. Sometimes, these lessons will be painful, but we will learn much. Does love HAVE to involve pain? No, but I think it often does, because we try to recreate the past with other people sometimes..and that will never work.
