Well, I do think that is true, I was born with less rights. I went to grammar school in a boarding school where my subjects were Religion, Singing, Embroydery, Etiquette & Posture. Women were to walk behind men, eat after the men, and generally keep quiet and pretty. No lie, really. Of course I was in trouble a lot, cause I was naturaly very good in math and could outsmart the nuns just for fun, their minds were so easy to figure out. They just never realized I was playing them until much after the fact and then I would just bat my eyes and play dumb. tee hee hee.

Capgirl-ILWL, I'm in the west too... and a single mom. I know what you mean about hard to find good men. I don't put myself in situations like that, I really am a home body and I don't make eye contact unless I know that man really well through work or play and when I get to feeling like they are closing in, I let them know immediately, "not interested".

The true luvs in my life I found my accident when I least expected it, and it always began with mutual respect, then good friendship and finally, the good stuff. 🙂

I've heard that one... Oh... I've got one where our client- the humane society- is being sued for spaying a dog which was surrendered by an apparent owner who had it for a year; the plaintiff lost possession of the dog like 2 years prior (hence the intervening owner who brought it in). Humane society still scanned for a microchip and only found one after spaying, it wasn't even registered to the Plaintiff herself but to her vet, and humane soc. went a step further and called not only the vet but then the Plaintiff who only then found out that her long lost dog of 2 yrs. missing had been brought in....Wasn't concerned about the spaying, and only that it wasnt going to be killed then w/o notice, sues for tens of thousands of lost income in breeding! AND she owns like 10 other of these ugly things (tibetan spaniels).
