There is no fixed age to stop wearing mini skirts. It depends on personal style, comfort, and individual confidence. Ultimately, women should wear what makes them feel good without feeling pressured by age stereotypes. Confidence and personal choice are key factors in fashion decisions at any age.
We had a marketing professor at uni and she worked out every day.. she must be in her 60s.
She wore mini skirts every day and looked very cool.

"um??" but then I quickly realize it & snap out of it bc I realize it's not right...like you said.
You also bring up a good point regarding safety. Sometimes women are told that dressing provocative might invite unwanted attention. I was actually reading a case in Italy (I think it was in the 90's) about a woman that was raped. The judge let the man go bc the conclusion was that since she was wearing tight jeans there was no way the man could have raped her...since he would have needed her help to get the jeans off? I found that logic terrible,in my opinion!

Nah nothing wrong with being modern, especially when it still looks classy and tasteful. But please don't dress like your teenage daughter. @_@ It always weirds me out when I see mother and daughter dressed like they're both in high school/college. It should be clear which one is the parent. Why the daughter and mom both got the same mid driff top and short shorts on? 😕 IJS.

I think it's however you rock it, honestly. Some teenagers can't pull off mini skirts. All in how you carry yourself, in my opinion.
If you have a slim, sexy and stylish figure, no need to stop wearing mini skirts. A women or a girl should stop wearing minis when tight clothes or short skirts make you look weird because of excessive size.

It depends on your attitude and lifestyle and not your age; I've seen women in their 40s and 50s wear miniskirts and look good. you should have to dress like old farmer mcdonald's wife just because you get older.

60 Surely there is no operation that is worth to use a miniskirt , that if for use until that age you must meet certain requirements by age :
20: As short as you like while you have a slender figure .
30: about 10 cm below the buttocks . maintaining the figure and now style and good legs.
40: about 15 cm below the buttocks , excellent figure, slender with taco preferable to enhance the image, the face should look fresh and radiant despite the age.
Here you can exalt more the stage of being sexy and not show much but expose you need .
50-60 : this age is controversial but that if the limit is short above the knee NO MORE . but is vulgar, If you think you can use whatever you woman walking down the street and part of the floor of sexy looks good , go ahead. you can choose more for good necklines back and front.

It has nothing to do with age or body shape, and everything to do with attitude.
Mini skirts and mini dresses have been a signature for me since I was a teenager, usually A-line. I'm 45 now. I do what I can to keep my legs looking good.
Mini skirts and dresses can work well on petite women in particular, IMO. Skirts that come too close to the knee, above or below, can make some small woman look squat - they visually break some petite bodies in a way that isn't flattering.
@Montgomery has good examples of what looks tasteful vs not on page 1 of this thread.
I think if you are a granny and you want to rock mini skirts..its ok...It is your life after all!! I prefer shorts by the way 😄
Skirts looks good at every age so i don't think anybody should stop wearing this. But i also like Straight Leg Jeans Women .

What you may not realize, honey, is that women GAIN more confidence as they age, and are FOREVER FREED of any silly aspiration to look perfect while going out for a stroll, for example.
In my 20ies, I would stumble wearing a mini, because the unwanted attention from many random boys would made me self-conscious.
Now in my fourties, I wear minis and shorts with pride. Not only I love my sexy womanly legs much more than I did my "toothpicks" in my twenties, but I could care less what Mr or Mrs Random think about them. If they don't like them, they should not look at them!
I will be wearing shorts in my 90ies as well.

Exactly!!! Even youngsters who are extremely overweight are in minis or leggings just because they are young... But they look like shite!!
Same with a woman who is slim but yets look her age Imo looks awful in leggings or a mini... Too much sagging flesh, thread veins, verocoise veins... Yuk!

It's all about the individual person, I saw a woman today at the airport with Tina Turner legs, easily in her 60s - man if my legs look like that when I'm that age, you can bet I'm showing them off!
A lady should stop wearing miniskirts whenever the f she decides she no longer wants to wear miniskirts.

Mini skirts are ageless, just throw on some tights underneath.
They should stop wearing miniskirts when they are no longer flattering. Some women have awful looking legs at 20 and other women look great at 75.

We've all seen that one woman who maybe shouldn't be wearing short shorts or skirts.
I would like to add that people should wear what they want...because it's their body & clothing.
However, I...personally....don't want to look ridiculous lol
So, I am curious...At what age should women stop wearing them? I am 26 & I still wear them, but I feel there
is a cut off age...just idk what that age is?
