Alcohol Drinks

Okay so... sure I'm not 21 yet but I will be in.. *counting fingers*... two years lol and it amazes me when people around me would know what they like to drink, drinks with alcohol in them. And when I'm asked I ... don't know what to say. I mean I have drank before but like how do you remember and know all these things? I can imagine myself not knowing what to order if I ever go to a bar (when I'm finally 21).
I mean, I don't care about drinking but it would be nice to not look clueless when coming to drink names.

go for the basics at first. then you'll talk to people and ask what they're drinking. then you can ask them what's in it.

i won't go into beer because i'm sure you know some of those by now.

here are some simple mixed (well) drinks:
- screwdriver (vodka & OJ)
- rum & coke
- gin & tonic/juice (gangsta!)
- margarita (tequila, muddled lime, sweet & sour, simple syrup)
- tequila sunrise (tequila, grenadine, OJ)
- jager bomb (a shot of jagermeister inside a beer glass filled with either beer or red bull just enough to cover the shot)

if you're into the idea of girly drinks go for: sex on the beach, mai thai, daiquiris, pina coladas, lemon drop, cosmopolitans, appletinis, fuzzy navel, etc. it doesn't matter what kind of alcohol is in them because it's covered up with loads of flavored sugar. bars also carry wine though not usually a big selection if you're in a dive.

now that i'm older i go straight for the ol' shot'n'beer approach. i got tired of all the extra sugar. i like tequila so i'll usually grab one then nurse a beer. i do like my champagne though...
