If so, then for how long? I started off as a lacto- vegetarian last month and somehow I did it. Now its March, i'm already getting bored with my food choices and starting to procrastinate . So, any vegetarian ideas for me to try?
i am and have been for several decades.
what are you eating?
there is lots out there in practically every cuisine you just need to be a bit adventurous. being vegetarian also doesn't mean being boring - mung beans and whole wheat pasta. it's also not just cheese sandwiches and fries. do a bit of exploring different recipes and don't be afraid to use meat substitutes!
it does take time adjusting to the life style though but after a while you'll find the thought of eating a dead animal just bizarre.
in terms of your health, i would possibly take an iron supplement too while you are still adjusting and creating a balanced way of eating. i had to take it at the start but now i don't need any supplements or vitamins, everything my body needs i get from my diet.
