There is nothing "dirty" about what Candida likes to eat, lol.

Good news is that it strives on sugar, more than your good bacteria.

I would avoid sugar and sugary products. There is a good substitute for sugar that I'm using, which tastes like sugar, without the aftertaste that stevia has! It is as sweet as sugar, so you could bake with it and follow the recipe as you were using sugar!

It has NO artificial ingredients either! It contains Erythritol and Steviol which are carbohydrates from plants, with 0 calories. "Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that has been shown to actually fight Candida, and this sugar alcohol can certainly form a part of your Candida diet. Erythritol is another example. ... Another option is Stevia, a natural supplement that has a negligible effect on your blood sugar levels."

Here is where I order it from https://www.goodgood.net/products/sweet-like-sugar-450-gr

Get yourself a 1000ml water bottle. 1 lemons juice squeezed in every morning. Now people say it should be warm water but the warm actually kills off the active enzymes in the juice. Lemon is acidic but inside the body it is not. It alkalizes and distributes vitamins throughout your body so you're getting the max benefits from everything you're eating. It also flushes out all of your organs.

Oh! And if you're eating a lot of greens... too much over time can be bad for you due to oxalate toxicity which is terrible for candida. Not to scare you from cruciferous veggies! They shouldn't be avoided! But lemon juice helps to balance and flush oxalate build up and deterioate/pass kidney stones.

Now keep those sliced lemons in there all day and drink 2 more 1000ml bottles through out the day.

Super important! At least to me. I just can't even tell you how amazing it feels. It's better than coffee. Coffee is still ok but lemon water first thing in the morning will seriously jump start every cell of your body.

What kind of clean eating? Whole foods? Still having meat? Just so I can have a better idea of what you're wanting...

Oh I love lemon water but stopped doing it ... this inspires me to start again

I can have chicken, some fish, veg all green, no root veg, no gluten, no grains, no yeast, no dairy

Thanks Miss ๐Ÿ˜˜

I tried lemon water. I just couldn't do it. Too acidic. Why I cant drink O.J. anymore either. The stuff burns my mouth and I get sores. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Candid is yeast right? I would suspect cutting out bread would help with this. Eat more yogurt. More greens and veggies in your diet. Cut down on red meat.

Ah! I drink it with a bubble tea straw LOL.
I got scared for my teeth enamel. It's pretty acidic and but inside the body it isn't. Weird huh? click to expand

Well...if you need one lemon per day - can you have 1 lemon juice diluted in more water to get all the lemon needed but make it less acidic with more water? You still get all lemon juice you need but not as strong?

I didnโ€™t get the memo lol. But I will say this tho avoid fried foods, steam more veggies and eliminate rice. Grill & steam is what I always eat. And also juicing fresh juice not the canned or bottled up juice.

Thanks Evo!

I may just move in with you lol

"Groan" Lol

So my health practitioner detects high levels of candida in my body and advised me to do clean eating.

Any recipes, suggestions etc very much appreciated ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š

Missed this somehow. Candida loves sugar, and flour as a result. A diet rich in protein and veggies should do the trick. Also drink water with a 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar can also help as well. The good thing is, most recipes are pretty simpple. Try the following:

-Roast chicken and black beans over cauliflower rice

-Steak with sauteed mushrooms over spinach

-Salmon with asparagus and diced bell peppers

They sound yummy minus the mushrooms....they are a fungus and deadly for candida
