F Tier Food From Social Media

I'll just come out and say, there is a ton of F tier food pics on social media. I would be lying if I didn't admit to having a bit of an obsession with saving the pic, because of how bad it actually looks. Now I will admit, I'm no 5 star chef by any means, but know bad food pics when I see them. The idea that people actually post them to brag honestly bothers me. Which is why I'm making a thread dedicated to the absolute worst food pictures on social media. Feel free to post your own, just make sure to edit out any type of private information.

This first pic is what inspired all of this. She was bragging on how she doesn't cook often, but when she does, it's amazing every time "winky face emoji". Now this does seem edible. I think I see potato, shredded chicken, some peas, maybe carrots from a can? I honestly seen this exact same thing in my dogs vomit, and feel like I'm trying to figure out what was potentially poisonous that made them vomit in the first place. Again this is probably edible, but how can you say you would enjoy eating this? I love the paper plate

aesthetic though. It makes it look -10 more appetizing.

the heat was probably way too high on that chicken and one might wanna go check on the food often if wanna avoid burning it. also, if the oven has like numerous racks, put the food in the middle rack (away from the heating element which is usually on the bottom and top) use both bake and broil so you get like an even distribution of heat on the food. and put some water in a container (you can use one of those aluminum containers) and put it on the top rack so the oven stays humid or whatever and the food won’t become dry/burnt easily. i dunno, at least that’s what my aunt told me lol 😂

but hey if all else fails, you can always get roast chicken that looks and tastes pretty decent at most grocery stores nowadays.



i got mad respect for people who can make something from a cookbook just by reading the instructions and no pictures to guide them.

my ass needs step by step pictures/guidance and it’s gotta be a video tutorial too lol 😂

I'll be honest, I don't consider your stew super bad looking. Sure stew is a pretty boring dish in general, but yours doesn't make me feel offended in any way. I only get offended when people brag about something they made, and it looks terrible. If you posted this on social media and said something like "First time attempting stew." I'd probably even like the post. That pic is an easy C tier imo, so if that was your first attempt, keep making it. Eventually you will master it. Better lighting, a nice bowl, and maybe some fresh bread on the side would make it even higher in my book. To me it isn't really about how skilled someone is. It's when they brag about something that looks terrible, then post it on their social media trying to impress people.

My daughter saw one for thanksgiving last yesr that involved a lot of high processed pork... spam and hotdogs, and paper plates. No whole foods. It was sooo gross.

She showed me one yesterday of a Louisiana restaurateur bragging on her mac n' cheese made with velveeta. I was so angry she was in a chef's jacket. I am the mac n' cheese queen and my daughter has proudly adoopted my recipe. She posted, "No mam Ms. Velveeta." I was so proud. LOL

I'm not a pro in mac n' cheese. I am a pro in most things cheese related, and hope to God people realize anything involving cheese 100% requires hand grading an actual block. Anyone buying pre graded cheese is being scammed while making their family sad, and throwing the whole block in without grading is lazy, and even worse imo. Unless the cheese was hand graded from a good block, it's going to 100% be trash every time imo.

I take photos of what I make sometimes but I never post it on social media unless it looks exceptionally good. And even then, probably not anyway. I'm a harsh critic of my food even though I don't cook that well or often. It's just that I was blessed to grow up with a parent that cooked good food.

Anyway, here is some sort of beef and mashed potato thing that I thought I could turn into a cottage pie but was too lazy so I just did whatever to it. I think I added too much worcestershire sauce to it and it doesn't have much of a gravy. The potatoes were okay too, not the most creamy but this is a poor man's food, essentially..right?

The only thing I really dislike most is overdone chicken. I just can't enjoy the texture if it's too dry. Also, vegetables tend to look great because.. nature.

Bad cooking is overall incompetence. Cooking is evolutionary and ruining food is unacceptable.

Showing off the failed effort is a strong indicator that the person that posted it is retarded.

sometimes i get a huge craving for hearty, classic comfort foods like mac n cheese. i could probably eat pizza every single day lol

i was trying to make those cheese-stuffed hamburgers with cheddar and mozzarella cheese oozing out of the beef patties themselves.

but i made the beef patties too thick or something and they didn’t get cooked all the way through (there were still some pink parts left in the middle) but we figured it was fine since we’ve had medium rare steaks at restaurants before?? 😅

well, my dude ended up with the worst stomach ache and nausea a few hours later.

i also ate the same thing and i was fine for some reason but he wasn’t as lucky 😂 i felt sooo guilty

he said it tasted really good but it was just half raw lol 😂

i tried making the same cheese stuffed hamburgers again and it turned out great the second time around.

but i microwaved it for two more minutes after i finished cooking it on the frying pan just to make sure lol 😂
