My nephew was telling me about trying a live octopi, I think that is at the top of the list of things to never attempt.

Aww sad, I was watching "1000 ways to die" once and this man actually died eating a live mini octopus. Being a vegan, I secretly did not feel sad for him-lol.

For me, it's "parmesan cheese", absolutely ...sorry, but how anyone can eat something that smells like "vomit" is beyond me. It tastes terrible too.. I end up breathing thru my mouth in restaurants if someone uses parmesan til the rancid smell passes or i just vision myself moving to a far-away seat..LOL ..but that wouldn't look good. =)

(i'm not too big on fresh seafood, either.. *battered fish from the freezer/restaurant is good though)

My food has to "smell" good or i can't eat it..

LOL! I like parmesean cheese (I think its one of those things that only ok if you are the one eating it) but I remember going to the food court at the mall w/ my bff and her baby and smelling something horrible and asking her "Is that him?" and she said "OMG! I hope not!" (needless to say we thought he made a totally stanky poop) then we realized it was parmesean cheese smell coming from another table.

Personally, I see no reason to eat organs (sweetbreads, liver) unless in a desperate, dire hunger situation.

Anything that combines sweet foods with regular foods such as this:

Cottage Cheese/Fruit
Waldorf Salad (Chicken Salad with raisins/apples/nuts)
Cheesecake (Yes I am the ONLY female alive who does NOT like cheesecake)
Sweet creams/cream cheese (Like strawberry cream cheese)
Pineapple and ham pizza (NASTY)

I just don't know what it is but I despise things that are mixed with sweets. If its a main course NO sweet stuff. It has to be an ACTUAL dessert, but even then I still dislike cheesecake.

Here is the rest of the list: (Things I wont touch EVER - Disgusting)
Danishes
Puff Pastries
Honey
Okra
Carrots
Green Olives
Peppers
Jalepenos
Gin (Yes its disgusting - tastes and smells like pine needles)
Raspberries (Those tiny seeds are nasty)
Apples
Kale
Sweet potato (Yes I dont like it sorry LOL)
Squash

I could go on but I think that is the main list.

So the restaurant deserves a bad review cuz the guy's wife is a cheating whore? i lol'ed

Food dislikes..

I discovered my gluten allergy just over a year ago. I had to completely rearrange my diet, as there is gluten in nearly everything, things you wouldn't even imagine... and if I (accidentally) eat gluten, I become horribly, violently ill within 30 minutes. After a year, NOW.. if I SMELL flour, it makes me nauseated.

A side note to gluten allergies.. a lot of GF people find themselves unable to handle dairy either.. the milk protein (casein) is SO similar to wheat/barley/rye protein (gluten).. that it often triggers a reaction. So I don't do dairy anymore.. and since giving up milk and cheese (which I loved - except parm. Always HATED that crap!)).. I've discovered that cheese-eaters have a SMELL. I'm not joking.. I can SMELL a "spoiled milk" odor seeping from the pores of dairy-eaters. (And all those years ago, I thought my Chinese co-workers were bananas when they mentioned this about most Americans!)

I've never cared for beer (fortunately, with this allergy) but I DID like the occasional Mike's (or similar).. can't have. I rarely drink, but now it's just vodka when I do.

I don't particularly care for organ meat (liver, heart, etc) though my Grandma used to make edible liver and onions -- no one since her could manage it. (Though nothing can fix the texture of these "meats"!) Never cared for goat, mutton, lamb.

I don't like seafood. NONE of it. Not lobster, crab, shrimp, NOTHING. I can't walk into a restaurant where there's a fish special going on, or shrimp/crab on a buffet, without getting sick. (A Red Lobster might kill me! haha) I may occasionally eat bluegill or perch (which are non-fishy tasting), if I'm listening to my body's cravings.. SO strange to crave something you HATE. Since starting fish oil capsules, I don't crave fish, however.

I HATE artificial watermelon flavor. It doesn't even taste REMOTELY like watermelon, people.

Other than that, I pretty much eat anything, especially veggies. Never met a veggie I didn't LOVE.. ALL of them, every single one!

eel and eel sauce... gag reflex

eggs:
sunnyside up
over-easy
over-medium
*i love eggs any other way including soft-boiled*

soggy bread... meaning a sandwich that has too much mayo/dressing, the meat was too juicy and soaked into the bread, or even has too much avocado spread.

soggy cheese ... it's an abomination when cheese goes soggy.
