I wonder why he's embarressed if you laughed? If you think it's human, why not be accepting of it? Why laugh? Laughing at it could potentially cause all sorts of psychosomatic and psychological issues for him. It's a natural human function that should be respected and accepted. If you're going to laugh, don't be surprised at him being ashamed and embarressed.

Kleo, this strikes me odd .... certainly, you realize that you opened up a can of worms by humilating him.

People, generally speaking, have in instinct to protect themselves from being humilated, and once it happens, they then normally retaliate in like kind.

The precedence is set .... the terms of the relationship have been morphed into him now believing that it is acceptable to you if he embarrasses you, by means of you treating him that way.

There must be a motive for why you did this to yourself.

And yes, I said to yourself ..... you opened the door. He now would be fully operating within the set terms of the relationship to openly comment on something you deem as sensitive information for yourself.
