I started fasting due to a need to focus on some issues and fasting/prayer usually does the trick. its a sunrise to sunset fast, almost like the 19 day fast. For the first couple of days, i do drink green tea while at work or chew gum. but eventually i slowly take myself off tea then switch to water. i also journalize my thoughts and feelings throughout the day.
Fasting has shown to really aide me in opening my eyes to things that i have neglected.
Maybe it will show you that you have been neglecting your body's nutrition 😉
I don't know, does your stomach rumble in complain at the lack of food?
Maybe having some carrots, fresh lettuce and tomatoes or grapes may do as well?
