Why do so many people have cold sores on their lips?

I read online its transmitted from kissing people in the mouth or oral. I think ike 40% of people I work with get them.

They should keep their mouths to themselves & the people that share the gift. Kissing will never be the same

there's no cure nor vaccine for it, the rash heal but the virus remains dormant, is not lethal so people is always spreading it all around, lot of people have it.

So I once knew this girl who had occasional cold sores on her mouth, which is a Herpes thing.

Then a few weeks later, a friend of mine decided to start dating this girl.

I didn't even know he was seeing her seriously, but he is a Cancer, so you know how shady they are.

Anyway, a few months later, he starts getting cold sores on his mouth, which is a transmitted Herpes thing.

Makes me want to stay away from women altogether sometimes.
