First met female Leo ~2 years ago, introduced as post-grad classmates. Instant attraction, but at the time, I was in a serious relationship. I thought the best discourse would be to avoid temptation by ignoring her at all costs. Somehow, although we go to a very small school, I've been successful (0 conversations w/ her since meeting her). Still, in the 2 years we've been classmates, I've noticed that she smiles when I'm around, I've caught her giving me extended looks, and once, she blatantly tried to get my attention at a bar. Fast forward to today: I'm single and want to get to know her outside of school. From observation (and reputation), she has all the typical Leo traits: brave, confident, honest.

How do I approach her? Should I give her an explanation as to why I've avoided her?

Leo girls love a confident man. Don't let your knees start quivering as soon as you walk upto her. Maintain eye contact (which shows you're not intimidated by her beauty/awesomeness/whatever). Be straightforward with her regarding your attraction towards her and don't waste too much time with excuses and why this and why that.

Focus on the present and the future, not the past.

And flattery! But don't overdo it, don't want to give her the impression you're desperate. If you can't make it, fake it until you do. Just think back to Taxi Driver 😄

Oh........and whatever happens, DO NOT do the trademark Virgo squint and eyebrow-raise. It's not cute, it's not sexy and reeks of sarcasm. You DON'T want to give her the impression that you're mocking what she says.

ok, so no small talk? just chase her down and tell her what I think? no problem (aries moon), but it's been a cat & mouse game since we met. would flipping that dynamic turn her off?

Thank you for eye contact tip btw!
