Astrology and Fortune

Do you guys think that your sign(s) can influence your luck? I've noticed that things usually seem to work out in my favor - even when something has the potential to get really ugly. Not always...but sooo many times in my life I've been saved from pain, misfortune, and all that by little coincidences that seem all too convenient. What's the deal? Is it astrology at work or just really coincidences?

No. I think that is coincidence...or something beyond astrology anyway.

And yes, supposedly Sag is the "luckiest" sign. I could never figure out why though lol

lol You had me stumped on this one for a minute. Because benefits and luck could appear to be the same right?

Ok, example....

Jupiter is the planet of higher knowlege. This area of your chart and it's sign would show where you have an interest in expanding your knowledge. And the way I see it, anything you have the desire to expand your knowledge in would bring benefits. Something you do yourself.

The word "luck" has a different meaning for me. Something that happens that you have no control over I guess.

I think so. Basically, what you're saying is that we have control over benefits and luck is an outside force we don't have control over.

In that case, would you say that people who have a lot of Sag in their chart tend to be more fortunate?

This made me think of my mom. She has 4 sag planets, including her rising and sun....

One of the most fortunate people I've ever known. But it was because of her own doing. An optimistic attitude has helped her tremedously along with her desire to learn. I'm not saying she doesn't fall into pessimism but I think a lot of Sag in someones chart helps pull someone out of that faster than say, a lot of water. It has brought her quicker results once she realizes there is much to stay hopeful about.

Fortunate can mean a lot of things.

Even for someone homeless who has lots of sag in their chart. Who can easily philosophize things and find the humor and wisdom behind having nothing. They will see it as something to EXPERIENCE. And maybe even brag about later lol

"I was once homeless...and let me tell you....." lol! (I have to call my mom)

In answer to your question. Yes, generally. In more ways than just outer accomplishments though.

Well...the fact that I was born was really strange because my dad had had an operation 😛
Not sure if you'd consider being born fortunate or not, I guess that's all up to you lol

Let's see...geeze...a couple weeks ago, I was being retarded and going way too fast on a dirt/gravel road that happened to have no guard rails and a huge, cliff-like drop to the right and I started swerving like crazy when I went around a curve and did absolutely nothing logical and did not end up plunging to my death or even going in the ditch...no exaggeration, it was a serious skid and I was thinking to myself "I'm going to die".
It's hard to think of specific examples because it happens frequently. I'm probably one of the clumsiest people in the world and there have been a lot of times when I've fallen down, say, a flight of stairs and thought, "alright, trip to the hospital", but I've come out unharmed due to weird circumstances. Also it could be fortunate that no one's ever around to laugh their ass off at me when that happens haha.

In relationships too. Just weird coincidences that save me a lot of work. Those things are a lot more complex though so writing the examples would just be dumb because I'm sure they'd be completely unimpressive to someone who doesn't experience them.

Oh, money too. I ALWAYS seem to get it when I need it.

Which would be the best way to describe your kind of luck. Perfect example of something you had no direct control over. You said you did nothing logical to prevent it? Something bigger than astrology happened. You just weren't meant to die yet...


Astrology can only offer you a suggestion of where you might slip up from time to time. Slow down!

I was doing 35...not speeding, it was just a matter of bad judgment based on the conditions, inexperience, whatever.

I do speed when I'm in a hurry. Not normally though.

As for the fate thing ehhhhhh. I don't believe in it...I'm not religious, actually I don't really believe in most paranormal things either. It's just hard to ignore when these things keep recurring. I was looking for a possible explanation in astrology BECAUSE of the fact that I don't believe in fate and all that.
