(J-lo) is incredibly talented.. i'd like her to impress us, her audience, with her talent again--start again a-fresh..like mariah? did. Sure the world condemned mariah too when she was down, but it also welcomed her back when she started again afresh.. work's to be done in the area of honest, loving devotion to her work and to us.. I'll bet, she'd win back her audience in a snap!

I don't know that much about J-lo, but I do know that most people need to touch reality base now and then..

I understand your point Jaya...I suppose the reason I had mentioned her and started this post--and I realized this week--is probably because I live in LA--the entertainment capital and here in Tinseltown--I see so much of her image. i.e....posters, magazines, her name in magazine, newspaper articles--snippets of what she's up to is printed everywhere!! Now this could be just a west coast thing, but then,,,these articles go AP (Associated Press) which is nationwide. In fact..this past Saturday, I was watching Direct TV--it was VH1--called "VH1 Goes Inside". Usually a very interesting program. It was all about J Lo's spending. Okay..I give the girl credit for being generous and treating her help well--I would too, but the girl buys 4 mansions! I wouldn't be able to keep up with two.

She is doing A LOT of things within a condensed time frame and I just find a sense of extremeness in that. Most people try to do differnt things within a time span of 10-20 years in thier career--she's doing all these things in a single year! There's the Louis Vuitton ads, the clothing line, spray cologne launch, talk show, pin-up calendar..what else...her new restaurant "Madres"...of course there's the acting and singing...I might have missed something but there you have it. Now there was a time when Madonna marketed herself to the 10th degree but what I see in J Lo will make Madonna cower in a corner. I just see extreminities in her--that's what I'm saying. Is she talented? You bet. I'm not knocking that at all and she has a beautiful face to boot. I just hope for her sake that she will prove everyone wrong with this next marriage in which she and Ben Affleck are majorly pushing the PR big time on, that it will last. By then...I will have more respect.

but man.. i've been having the strangest thoughts lately.. like..for instance.. you know how astrology and everything else says that there's that perfect someone out there for everyone, well i'm guessing that that someone would balance the other persons great and well..not so great traits.. kinda like aqaurians do for libras.. aqua bring out libra's fun loving, romantic side..
and controls the frosties..don't they?? I had this one aqua friend that i wanted ta lovingly wrap my warmed hands around his neck to strangle mostly, but I have to admit that he's been a really good friend for 'most all of the way.. a bit odd i guess... but nobody's perfect!
Now I'm ending this talk thinking that I am such a schmuck for even saying something so harsh,
but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I think, she'll be fine in life.. and she'll most probably be happier when she finds her right person.. hm..good luck to us all on that note..we all deserve to be really, really happy.. ; )

Well, well, well...the tease with the media still goes on--canceling on the wedding for a later date or perhaps leaving everyone to guess if they will elope--who cares, right? But I say: Get on with it for crying out loud!!! Get friggin' married already! I keep reading about J Lo and Ben's nuptials AND seeing it on tv--soo damn tired of it all. It goes to show that this couple go out of their way to keep up the "notoriety" of their fame. They just want the whole damn world to know of their fantasy wedding (Or nuptials). It's getting to be really pathetic. Man, I've really had enough of this couple--especially J lo. This board allows me to vent. I've seen and heard of many celebs and celeb couples about their lives and such but this really takes the trophy for unessessary, super hyped-up, in-your-face, in the news celebrity garbage. i come from jlos neighborhood. i have family who has worked w/her family. she is so unarticulate. she's typical bronx puerto rican in that she's savvy, pretty, knows how to dress...etc. that's why she is successful. she's no classic beauty, however, and her booty is a dime a dozen in my neighborhood.

Why is everyone hating on J-Lo so much. Are your lives so empty that you have to bash this Latin Princess who made it big from a humble home that struggled. I do not know any of you but why be so mean towards anyone rich or poor.
