I know this is apparently a terrible pairing.

Would still like some pointers and insight on how a Leo guy would behave when he likes someone? So far our dates have been great, he tries to show off (going to fancy restaurants and bars etc.) and be a gentle man a lot. He seems to feel comfortable with being goofy around me and I seem to be able to make him laugh which I think is wonderful.

Only problem I have is that we only text when we are making plans to meet up but otherwise I don't hear from him for days. No spontaneous cutesy texts and I don't want to put too much emphasis on it either but recently he had to reschedule plans to meet up very last minute due to work conflicts but this hasn't happened before so I am curious because I would really like to be able to trust him, but past experiences have made me a bit of a skeptic.

In short I would like to know a) communication style b) attitude of a Leo guy when they first start to go out with someone and actually like them 🙂

Leo men aren't big texters, so don't rely on it. Leo men prefer real communication whether if be in person or over the phone. This is because in general Leos tend to be busy people, so texting feels more like a chore. Leos also like to feel involved in a conversation with the people that we like, which isn't really possible via text. I personally find texting stale and time consuming. I'll text someone I like only when direct forms of communication aren't viable. Other than that I only text to relay information (time, place, yes/no answers, etc).

If a Leo man likes you, we will spend time with you. A Leo who likes you will ask you out OR figure out how to be around you more. So basically what this guy is doing. Don't overthink it and be sure to reciprocate. If you don't hear from him, but want to talk to him, just contact him. If a Leo likes you, we will respond back to you when there's a free moment.

My Leo was EXTREMELY into me once he was ready. He put a lot of effort into us. More than most in the past. He showed me a love that I never knew existed.

He would definitely make someone a good partner if he wasn't using. Other than that, I have no complaints at all. It was fun. He was funny and caring, but then suddenly he didn't want to do his part in things and everything became my fault. I DO NOT think that has anything to do with his being a Leo, I think he was a narcissist. They are in every single sign. He is still using the halo effect on people against me and demanding that he get his things, having me put the outside, then days go by and the weather starts getting to them. Suddenly I'm the bad guy.

Jokes on him though, bc anyone he may play these games with and tell them this crap about me to mean nothing to me. All of them are junkies too.

Good luck. Don't read too much into it. Just let it happen. Could be good.

That definitely sounds like a narcissist. A narcissist will butter up a person to create a false sense of security, then gaslight then into a subservient role.

If I like someone that I'd think might be worth the time. I'd do anything and everything I can under the Sun for them. Look my best and behave in my best behavior.

Would you also be up front about you lack of interest and let someone know if you are not feeling a connection with them? Or would you just pull away and stop showing up and let someone figure out on their own?

I would let the person know if it wouldn't work out, but that doesn't matter since every Leo's response differs in that regard. When I was younger I would quietly back away from women who seemed too overbearing (a common trait in fire/air signs). Women have also confused my busy/preoccupied demeanor for indifference/hatred. Just because a Leo is busy doesn't mean that he isn't interested.
